Sarjapur Social — Restaurant in Bengaluru

Social remains to be my favorite so far . I used to visit kormangala branch often , got to visit the sarjapur one today and yes the food quality n taste speaks for itself. Not to forget the amazing decor at this new place , the ambience is too good. It's spread across two floors and it's huge as compared to the kormangala one. Got to see a new premium menu here , wanted to try the fish but since we were early the fish wasn't available. Gave a try to the new dessert cake with coconut ice cream and it was as gud as their chocolate layer cake. After having tried quite a few restaurants be it buffet or alacarte over past few years in Bangalore, Social is one of those places which never disappoints me....a good time with family and yummy food is guaranteed. Have tried most of their veg n non veg options and trust me both are as good. Coming to service, it was promt and the people were courtious. The only thing I felt here that food wasn't that hot may be because it's a large place and can't blame them all alone as the weather was also too cold when we visited them and we were sitting in open area. We requested them to get our tea heated and they did it with a smile :). Mr.Jitendra used to serve us most of the times at the kormangala branch & was happy to see that he has shifted to Sarjapur branch now, as always he was very courteous and served us well. A big thanks to the entire team of Social, for making all my celebrations memorable !!!!!

One request if you could , please have an option to order cake for birthdays. I requested them once on my little ones birthday , as we planned to have the dinner at Social ( called up in the morning , if I could get one along with dinner ) but they said they don't...

Socials have never disappointed me!! BUT.. Went there for my office party which was a group of some 30 folks. We got a decent deal for 2500 per person.

They accommodated us well but somehow I feel In a corporate party they should have paid more attention as we felt left out. The drinks were not served to us on the counter which created a lot of mess, also we had to order our starters which were already preset by us, thus it created a lot of chaos. At least the starters could have been served on the desk allotted on rotation and drinks on the bar would have been a main stream and normal one.

The music played was strictly non Bollywood, so if u are looking for a place which plays few Bollywood songs on your request, this place is a serious no for you as they won't entertain you given you are a separate and only group present there.

Taste wise chicken wings and jalapeno cheese balls were my favorite. Sangria was a waste. Not sure if it was the package or that's how its served in social. Wasn't able to try the main course as was busy dancing.

Would surely like to review it for an a la carte/non package mode!! Thus keeping a neutral rating of 4.

Summarizing I am a big fan of the social chain (Whitefield, koramangala, and my fav Church Street) but as it was my 1st time for a corporate package, socials was not able to...

A place worthy to celebrate your celebrations at!

Location: (5/5) Socials sticks out with its massive sign board on top of the large building and easily accessible, right by the main road! It being on the top floor also gives you a great view from up there, and the choice to do your cardio right before your meals by climbing about 5 sets of staircases

Food: (5/5) it has variety in both cuisine and the number of dishes. Everything from mild spicing to super hot foods. In comparison, the non veg menu is much better than the veg, which too isn't bad as such. It's primarily Indian, American, European and Chinese food. Great quantity. Pricing may seem high but the quantity and quality are both fantastic.

Ambience: (5/5) Great thematic setting. The interior arrangements give a sophisticated look, the out tables have a more rough look, both equally comfortable and with their own pluses. Good choice of music, not too jarring, not too loud. Might get a bit hot if you're not seated close to the ac.

Service: (4/5) Well mannered and timely service, however some of the staff are clueless about their own dishes and do not respond on first call.
