Terrible Experience at Bob's Bar - Avoid at All Costs!

I recently visited Bob's Bar, and I must say, it was one of the worst experiences I've ever had at an establishment. From the moment I walked in, it was a disaster waiting to happen.

Firstly, the ambiance was utterly uninviting. The place was poorly lit, with a strange, musty odor lingering in the air. The furniture looked like it hadn't been updated or cleaned in years, and there were visible stains on the seats and tables. The music was unbearably loud, making it impossible to have a conversation without shouting.

The service was horrendous. We waited over 20 minutes just to get the attention of a server, and when they finally came over, they were incredibly rude and dismissive. They didn't seem to care about customer satisfaction at all. When we finally placed our order, it took another 45 minutes for our drinks to arrive, and they were all wrong. Not only did the drinks taste awful, but the glasses were dirty, with lipstick stains and fingerprints clearly visible.

The food was no better. It was clear that the ingredients were not fresh, and the dishes were poorly prepared. The appetizers were cold and tasted like they had been sitting out for hours. The main courses were overcooked and bland, lacking any flavor or seasoning. To make matters worse, when we complained about the food, the staff was unapologetic and did nothing to rectify the situation.

Vibrant ambience, spacious, dimly lit, located in the heart of JP nagar, valet services available. Attitude of staff is pretty good & pleasant. Social distancing norms well followed. The place is idel for friends to jam up, dating couples (they have small match box enclosures that will offer some privacy to talk of sweet nothings). Food options are limited, nevertheless has everything from eggs to beef!! Tasty yummy food served piping hot to the table. Portion is not very huge and that's what I liked the most. It gives you the opportunity to try more number of items. Price is proportional to the quantity. Taste is excellent!! Must try items are the chicken tawa fry, street style mutton Paratha, Koli Vada... you'll not regret it! The usli's are another favourite. I gave them a 4rating and not 5 because of you are a mocktail customer, the choices are so very limited. Almost nothing!! But do not let that hamper your spirits. The ambience and food more than makes up. Interestingly they have nothing on the menu that is mushroom based either.. though am a hardcore meat lover i equally enjoy mushroom delicacies. Lack of it on the menu was a huge disappointment. Cost is quite easy on the pocket in comparison to any equally good place in JP Nagar or around. Big thumbs up they score there. Food quantity(ones that you have with your beer) is very less and the veg items except the mushroom cheese sandwich are very disappointing. If you want to lose faith over potatoes then you should order this dish named Gun Powder potato.

We have to scan a QR Code to order and they charge you service charge on your bill which is very high and you need to argue with them to have the service charged removed from your bill.

According to me a service charge is something where a customer pays a small amount to the person who takes orders and serves the customer. Here we order scanning the QR Code and the person who gets it from the kitchen just slides it on your table. When we can order from the QR Code then we can also get it from the kitchen.

Double entries. Please review your bill diligently and not just go by the total bill value that is shown while ordering using QR Code as there were double entry for one item on my bill.

I had been there on a Friday night and it was very crowded maybe other days it might be better as after a point they slide down shutters which makes it very congested.
