I am very sad to say that I had a very unpleasant experience at this branch and have been facing this issue at most of your branches in Bengaluru. I walked in asking for a take away order of Kaapi Nirvana , specifically instructing your staff to make it thick(the way it is supposed to be made) and not watery. When they presented me with the bill, they had conveniently added a 1Re donation which I had not authorised. And this happens at most of your outlets, amounting to fraud, if I may say so. Not only did they take 10 mins to make this drink, they also gave it to me without cream( which it is supposed to come with anyway). I returned it and the lady at the counter apologised for not knowing the Recipe, blaming the barista for it as he is new. When I finally got it after 2 mins, it was watery. I returned it and asked for my money back, which was given to me after an apology by your staff. First and foremost, you cannot bill customers for a donation without their consent. This can result in legal action. Secondly, your staff need training as they do not even know the recipe of your drinks(which I had to inform them about). When Coffee Day first started out, your drinks and service were both fantastic. Sadly to say, with expansion your standards have gone down and the quality of your drinks is very poor. I would give them a zero. The store manager has not given us bills for the longest time possible. Today since I went alone and knew exactly what I was ordering, found the bill to be more than average. I ordered a Cafe Frappe and clearly told her I needed a plain frappe. She billed me for Espresso shot, Coco and Whipped Cream when I clearly did not ask for it. She told me the system does not allow her to remove these add ons. I have been visiting CCDs for a long time and never dealt with something so crazy as this. They even refused to share the bill for a long time and I refused to budge, she reluctantly took out the bill. They are outright cheating the innocent customers.
