CAFE IFTAR RESTAURANT — Restaurant in Bengaluru

On 08/07/2023, I went around 11 40 pm and ordered a Barbeque Half Chicken.. as my phone was getting switched off I paid in the beginning and notified them and was sitting in the down floor first table. I waited for half an hour that is from 11 45 pm to 12 15 am for my order and when I checked with the counter they have not even printed my bill and they have even forgotten that I have ordered something, this is not the first time that this has happened, earlier similarly in the midnight time I went and ordered a biriyani, even after half an hour they don’t know about my order even after notifying them several times. This is a very bad restaurant due to its worst customer service, these people will degrade the value of other Bengaluru Malayalee’s who are doing there businesses with full commitment. These guys have no commitment and passion towards its customers.

I was too hungry and they tested my patience not the first time but the second time and I feel so much upset and frustrated due to this behaviour from the restaurant. If the concerned person from the restaurant is reading is this I have only one request, please stop fooling people and do your business with some commitment, shame on you.

The worst part is even after understanding that the mistake is 100 percent in the side of the restaurant they were still trying to justify with some blunders. Delaying or being unnoticed once is understandable, but repeatedly, that’s too bad.

Adding on behaviour of the staff to the people also is too rude, not at all polite. I could hear other customers complaining this in the restaurant itself.

Cafe Iftar is a very popular kerala Restaurant located in Kothannur. Their biryani and shawarmas are very good and the place is crowded in evenings. They have Fresh & Unique Seafood Recipes with Traditional with Modern fusion Taste. They also have a variety of Snacks. Now they started the ifthar special section also.

However this review is on the snacks parlour of Cafe Iftar, which is beside the restaurant. The popular items are the tea, fresh juices and the Kerala snacks. Plenty of patking available here. For both 2 wheelers and 4 Wheeler's. A security also there for arrangements. But the whistle sound is little disturbing 🙌🏻

The place is popular at all times of the day. The place is quite big and is busy usually. Exercise buffs in the morning are seem woth theor daily cup of chai , and as a hangout in the evening.

They have a chicken Grill section where you get all varieties of Al Faham and tandoori chicken. It is very tasty. I tried the grilled chicken and chicken shawarma and both tasted good. The pricing is reasonable and portion size is good. Service is...

Their Chicken Tandoor Starters are a must try. Chicken cooked to perfection and juicy. They are consistent with their quality as well, I have tried here in dining and delivery as well and at both times their quality did not drop. The sides for the starters are good also. They also have authentic and delicious Biryani.

My only downside was that on the first visit, I ordered a prawn tawa fry for around 500~, I felt it wasn't up to the quality or price when compared to the other items on the menu. It was overpriced and just barely consumable. Totally not worth the price.

Even though I was disappointed in the prawn dish that didn't stop me from ordering from this restaurant as the other dishes I mentioned were far too good to be boycotted just for one disappointing dish.

I would recommend you think twice before ordering a prawn dish here, but their other fish dishes were popular. I haven't yet tried them but during the dine in I noticed the majority of other customers ordering...
