Chung Wah Asian Restaurant — Restaurant in Bengaluru

It was Aug the 15th, I was looking for a nice place to catch lunch with my family, and decided to try the Chung Wah at Kothanur main road! Although the Google reviews were mixed, we thought of giving them a chance, hoping for a delicious and satisfying meal.

The restaurant has a good ambience, lots of parking space. However, we were very disappointed by the food quality, which was poor and bland. We wanted to keep it simple & ordered the evergreen fried rice, one side dish suggested by the waiter, and a soup for starters. All the dishes were tasteless, too salty, and they lacked the authentic flavors of Indo-Chinese cuisine. ChungWah has totally lost it! The food is not worth the price.

The service was average, but not very attentive or friendly. The only thing that I liked about the restaurant was the decor, it was elegant and cozy. We went here for dinner on Saturday night. It was around 8.30. Tables were available and there was no waiting time.

We ordered Manchow Soup, Momos, crispy potato, Asian salad (cold) with siracha sauce and noodles.

Soup, salad, crispy potato and noodles tasted very well. Momos not good (Covering was thick and not a great taste).

Food and Portion: 4/5 Parking : 4/5 (available Road side) Ambience : 4/5 (Very minimalist and simple) Service : 6/5 (yes right, I rate them 6). Staff is very humble, attentive and give you all the information and suggestions. Food comes out hot, fresh and they serve well. As I mentioned, Momos were not great. They did observe and asked us for feedback. Based on that not only they asked for apology but also didn't charge us.

This below picture is how you achieve happiness with juicy tasty flavour blast in your mouth. Must try.. I feel like in Chung wah, due multiple choices it's hard to order. You order looking at the fancy description and the food that appears on ur table is disappointing. One such instance was with thai red curry and chow mein. Somehow I had few pieces left from my starter as back up, so that helped leaving a lasting taste.

Please include pictures of the dishes or have the manager help with the food ordering.
