Chai Point - Domlur — Restaurant in Bengaluru

I stumbled into this Chai Point during a tricky patch in life. I was trying to force myself out of the house more often, and this place was close by. I am not someone who typically works out of cafés, so I was skeptical at first. But something about this spot quietly won me over.

Despite being located on one of the busiest roads in the city, this place somehow manages to feel still, almost like it’s holding space for you. It has everything you need - chai, snacks, a charger point - but more than that, it offers a kind of calm you don’t find easily.

What began as a one-off visit turned into a gentle ritual. Soon enough, the staff would see me walk in and ask, “Ginger lemon small?” That tiny familiarity meant the world to me. It made me feel seen. Safe.

I visited the place for 4 th time now. It used to be pocket friendly with 20 Rs regular chai. And other snacks. Now they increased the chai cost to 90 Rs. I do understand they have their own reasons. But there is no change in chai taste or even the cup for that matter. They increased the price by 4.5 times.

Also, Service this time is poor. I had to wait at the counter for 5 mins without any queue for someone to respond. While they were attending the online orders. And after waiting for 5 mins. I was told to order in the app with some offer.

When using the app for dine- in order. It didn't contain the item i was ordering and available at the place. It took some time and refreshing the page for the menu to get updated.

Had the samosas and chai.. tasted good. And paid through the app..

Missed my budget chai by visiting there. And also if i want to download app and order why would i visit the store?

I write this review with great disappointment. As much as the brand is great and deliveres good food, they are not a fully honest brand. I have ordered from their app multiple times. About 2 weeks back i placed an order on their app and made the payment. After waiting for more than an hour and half when i tried to look for help as my order wasnt recieved it was quite the usual that they had no one answer the customer care number and the app said order dispatched but the address section said failed. Now after multiple followups on the emails I have been told that there was a "INTERNAL INVESTIGATION" conducted and the order was delivered and no refund. Its sad that they think it was all about the money and not the Chai. Its of ourse not a big deal when it is one customer and one failed delivery but when multiplied with 100 customer of 1000 customers it is a big deal.
