The location is not very right for the restaurant in this locality. No valet facility and the road has so many No Parking zones. There is a Park nearby and one can park the vehicle there on the roadside. The restaurant is inside and not really visible. The ambience and decor is simple, space saving so a little congested. The experience has been quite horrible in spite of the food being above average. We went there and ordered at 3.05pm and we're told to wait for 25 minutes for a Saturday lunch. We waited. No kim-chi or any other munchies on the table. The two starters arrived by 3.40pm. The highest priced dish was Pepper Lemon Garlic Prawn, Rs. 445. You can see the quantity in the picture. It was not enough for even one person. However this was not the case with other dishes. The Honey Chicken was better than average. Ordeal started after the starters were served. Another 25 minutes later and after 3 repeated requests the Main course, Singapore Rice Noodles and Veg dumplings in Sauce, arrived at the table. The total bill was Rs 1621 for two people, 4 dishes. Must say that the food was pretty good to taste but not good enough to go through 1 hour of waiting before and in between the courses. The staff cannot speak or understand the questions and it seemed they are least bothered about what the customer is thinking. At the end I asked for permission to take pictures of the restaurant and they denied. So my view of the interiors will not be available here but we did take pictures of the food and the...

Having always enjoyed food from Hunan in food courts, be it the one in my office or the one in Phoenix Market City. But never have I ever went to an outlet of Hunan and dined-in or did a take out before. Until recently when we decided to do a take out from this outlet of Hunan in the way back to our staycation.

First the staff were courteous, quick to take my order and overall the place was well sanitised, hygienic, with proper social distancing for dine-in.

After a quick wait, I was handed down my order is very beautifully and neatly packed, that was spill proof too.

We ordered a Vegetarian Manchow Soup, vegetarian Schezuan fried rice, and a vegetarian Phad Thai.

The soup was packed perfectly to remain hot & spill proof, it was very delicious and didn’t need the chilli vinegar accompaniments that were packed separately. A very comforting bowl to a cold bangalore evening.

The Schezuan Fried Rice was good, though lacked salt that could have made it more perfect, the spice level was ok, and the overall flavour mild.

The Phad Thai was definitely delicious, with the proper, sweet, sour and crunch beautifully balanced, I did miss a spice kick that I managed to get by adding the chili paste that was sent as an accompaniment.

Overall a great place to probably dine-in than a takeout to enjoy the flavours better, but kudos to the packaging, it was a near...

I was very excited to have Chinese for dinner and the reviews for this restaurant was good, hence decided to try here. It was a Saturday night and almost all the tables were full. Had to wait for 5-10 minutes and got a cosy table for 2. It was a date night for me and my wife and ordered chicken Manchow soup (which was delicious) a starter dragon chicken (which never reached my table, but was included in the bill, had to inform them that we never got the starter) for main course had ordered hunan la zi ji and hakka noodles with burnt garlic ( both being a boneless dishes, but found a big piece of bone in it). Frankly, I love hunan based dishes, unfortunately here the food wasn't up to the mark (also considering the price). Finally had to ask them to remove the service charge which was included in the bill. I really don't mind paying more if service, ambience and the food are good. Here in my experience only the ambience was good. I don't know if I would come again to this restaurant (as I was not satisfied and also tummy not full without the starter).

Couple of good things - they have a kids menu and high chair for young children.

Ambience 4/5 Food 2/5 Service 2/5 Price 1200-1500 (depending on the dishes you order)...

Six of us decided to do office lunch at the Hunan Chinese Restaurant on New Bel Road on the recommendation of one of our colleagues. On the outside, the place didn't look promising. However, after navigating the stairs and entering the restaurant the place more than met our expectations and the food was awesome to say the least. Since we were a mix of vegetarians and non vegetarians, we ordered accordingly. We started with Baos and what we had were the Tofu Bao & Mushroom Bao for the vegetarians and the Pork Belly Bao for the non-vegetarians. The Baos were immensely enjoyed by one and all. We followed this with the Thai Veg Fried Rice and Five Treasure Vegetables for the vegetarians and the Mixed Fried Rice and Chicken in Hot Garlic Sauce for the non-vegetarians. All the dishes were excellent. This place is truly a treasure if you like Chinese food and I would recommend it highly.
