The Urban Nest — Hotel in Bengaluru

I stayed from 22nd May to 26th May, 2022, here for my IISc interview. The rooms were very clean and service was awesome. They had customer first policy. Sometimes ofc some delay can happen but it's rare. Atleast in my 4 days of stay, I was very comfortable.

Some of the pros I will list here ..

Clean rooms. Not even a single mosquito or cockroaches. No hidden charges like other places where I stayed, where they even charged for drinking water bottles. Did room cleaning whenever you need them to. Service was very good. All staffs were polite. They even wished good morning/evening etc whenever you see them. AC, TV and wifi working perfectly. The roadside shops have much to offer. Can just explore it and lots of places one can visit. If need early check-in or late checkout you have to ask the owner in advance (before booking online) so that they can make such arrangements. Its not possible otherwise which makes sense.

Cons : As such this isn't the hotel's fault so wont remove the star from them. They already did their best for every amenities they could do.

Location was good but the autorickshaw will not take you to nearby railway station. I had to go by bus. The food in the locality isn't that tasty. Better to eat from KFC or McD nearby where taste is uniform. Shivsagar restaurant nearby was the only other option compared...

The Urban Nest is located very close to the Ramaiah hospital in New BEL road. The hotel has opened recently. The rooms are well laid out with comfortable beds, good clean linen, suffient storage pace as well as working space for business travelers. The location is well connected, so travel within the city is a breeze. A variety of dining and shopping options around this hotel makes dining out and quick shopping very easy. Above all, the warm and cosy feeling one gets due to the top class customer service is fabulous. The owners of this place, Sunil and Kanchan, and their staff ensure that you get a warm welcome and that all your requirements are met. They are also more than willing to help you out with the smallest of queries that you might have about destinations, commute and so on. It's good to feel that matters of your comfort is in "good hands". I wish this warm couple all the best and hope that they grow in...

We really loved the Urban Nest! Its family run (young Indian couple), pretty new.||||The rooms are sparkling clean, with a great mattress. And the shower is THE BEST we had on the whole trip! Great water pressure and plenty of hot water. Includes toiletries, a wall safe. Excellent laundry service too. Breakfast is average (offsite until the downstairs cafe is completed next month). It is also surprisingly quiet too! ||||Special mention about the location. It is a block off a tree canopied main road, near Ramaiah Hospital and Tata. This makes it quiet but convenient. Lots of young professionals. Unbelievable number of restaurants and cafes! Probably 20+ within 2 block radius! Very hip area. Lots of autorickshas and taxis too. A 15 min ride to Sandal Factory stop on the Metro—a good option to avoid Begalurus notorious traffic.||||All in all, good value for money—and fun! ...
