Cosmo Dhaba — Restaurant in Bengaluru

We had a very bad experience at Cosmic Dhaba. We ordered Cosmic Kofta, Dal Makhani, Peri-Peri Lotus Stems, Amritsari, Kulcha, Chur-Chur Laccha Paratha, and one mango dryfruit Lassi. The Lassi initially was very thin. When we told them, they improved the consistency. But the Lotus stems starter which cost Rs. 320, was more of crispies. A starter which costs a decent amount, should look like a starter should not feel like a pack of chips or munchies. If it is like that, then it should not cost Rs.320. On top of it, it didn't taste good. Then coming on to the main curries, Cosmic Kofta was still okay, but Dal Makhani was absolutely the worst. It looked like they had given us their homemade cooked Dal (cost Rs.300). It was very bad. Except for the brown color of Dal Makhani, it didn't taste like Dal Makhani at all and consistency was thin. Whoever has given a positive review for this place, this is absolutely a sham. Except for the ambience, there is nothing good when it comes to food at this place.

Please avoid it at all cost if you value your health. Because after eating this food, my husband and I have been having stomach ache.

We are someone who go out a lot. So we have had decent food at the same price, decent food at a lesser price and a much better tasting North Indian food as well in Sarjapur, HSR, etc. And trust me, this place falls in neither of these categories.

Just by putting 'Dhaba' in the name doesn't make food taste good. We (2 people) spent Rs.1400 for this level of bad food.

P.S.: It's better to go to Bhartiya Jalpan, which is just 2 minutes walking distance from this place (Even if you have gone to Bhartiya Jalpan 50 times earlier, at least you know that the food will not be as bad as Cosmic Dhaba. It will be decent and you won't have any...

Firstly, no parking space for the restaurant. If elderly person visits along with your family they'll not be comfortable with the seating since most of them are not chairs and you may need to wait for it.

And the food was amazingly the worst ever tasted in the vegetarian category, starting with soup ordered manchow soup which was very bad I could taste it similar to soya or schezwan sauce. Next I ordered a Chinese starter mushroom pepper which was good and Gobi chilli was too bad similar to soup. On the main course, garlic roti is a good one with panner kolhapuri which is surely disappointing with the restaurant, where there was no salt or spicy in the curry as mentioned in the menu. Then the veg Schezwan noodles were good and the veg fried rice was tasteless in just tossed veggies in it.

The service was so bad, just to serve the normal water in glass which we received after their main course food which is being asked for 3 times. Similarly for the cutlery, plates, tissues etc.

The atmosphere of the restaurant is good since it's located on the second floor where the ventilation is good, but the Ile space is too congested for walk through or service.

So overall the experience was too bad on the food, If you prefer to have along family highly not...

I don’t even want to give one star also.. the worst dhaba ever I can say.. all that attracted me to this place was people posting reels and vegetarian food but little did I know that it ll be such a disappointment. I came here with my parents and order achari paneer tikka , chilli baby corn , masala pappad and tomato soup for starters.. ALL THE FOOD WAS EXTREMELY SALTY and they gave after Half and hr post ordering … he ended up giving all items except one starter. Waiting for 15 min when we asked them to give the last starter . He gave us last start and when asked to give main course( the server didn’t know what main coarse was )The server says 20 min they ll take to give main course after starters. From when did this rule come (Someone correct me on this ). The ambiance is dirty. Sitting area is horrible not very family friendly.. coming to main course we ordered ghee pulka and one bendi masala and Palak paneer.. there was literally mud smell in Palak paneer.. ghee pulka was better and bendi masala was undercooked. For beverages we had ordered Lemon soda sweet n salt it was like lemon juice and cold water that’s it. Spoilt my dinner and worst ever place I have ever eaten. Also it the most expensive menu.. not...
