Having heard about rave reviews about this newly opened place, we decided to try it out for a birthday dinner. We went to the place, gave the order and the counter told that it would take about twenty minutes and it would be great if we could pick up. We told them them we shall do that. Now after thirty minutes when we landed to pick up the food there was this major confusion starting from telling that there was no order from then it became that our order was given to someone else. I understand that newly opened places can be little unorganized but then missing a full large order is not acceptable. Now the counter says in ten minutes the order will be done. Note that this place does in on main road with no parking facility and stopping the vehicle in main roadside means creating chaos and traffic jam. Still we took the car and parked far and walked back. It also set me thinking that would people at real Delhi-6 accept this? Won't they have created a mayhem at restaurant? It's ok we are in bangalore and we are people with patience. While waiting for food to be ready I could clearly notice that there is serious coordination issues between billing , stewards and the customer. I could see s gentlemen who finished his food waiting to pay but no one knows where the kot or bill is and he ended up walking up to the counter and paying it. Also no one was facing the customer and keeping them engaged as I may of them was leaving. Now after a wait of fifteen minutes we get the food. We checked with the guy who bought the food if the order was right and he was again not sure about it. Considering the time and the occasion that people were waiting at home we paid and took off.
Now coming to the food.. Out of the various dishes ordered stuffed mushroom and parathas was good rest all malai kofta, dahi sholay, soya chap etc.. need a serious awakening.. To the reviews given by people to me versus the actual its a serious disappointment. Is it just the day Or the crowd or is it really that bad? May be one more chance could tell that.
I would like to make a note about the two ladies at the counter who was really trying their best to get things in control. Request you to take this feedback in the right sense and get your team organised. Kaggadasapura needs a good dining joint , you can be one provided you get...
Read moreI have personally visited the hotel and experienced the service.
There are very less staff compared to the day and the area the hotel is located.
I and my mother had to wait for 10-15min just for a person to clean the table.
I had to literally go and ask the manager if the hotel had self service, After which they asked a waiter to attend us.
After 25min siting in our chair, looking around the shabby place with broken wall and don't let me start with the atmosphere.
Now, I would like to take you towards the food ; when you listen to the word "Delhi - 6 Chandni Chowk" you feel to have something spicy and chat Pata with spices in it because this is how we have a mind set towards a place.
We ordered a Amritsari Naan + Chole + Chutney/Pickle and a Mattar rice which has come with a green chutney and some chopped onions.
Our order arrived after 10 minutes (which the service was activated after me looking at the manager for 2 continuous time) My order has arrived with Amritsari Naan which I thought would be filled with spices and tasty but evidently it was a mistake.
On the other hand my mother had her mattar rice with green chutney and Onions.
The glass which they provided in which the water was poured was unclean and I was about to vomit at the same time.
I then saw 2 rats running in and out the kitchen area which the Manager did not observe, This was my limit where I asked them to...
Read moreOne of the most expensive chat stall(but they call it a restaurant) i have ever visited. Saturday I went wit my family had a seat in corner table. I found that chat items is self serviced. I took the menu card and navigated way through the maze of table and chair arrangements to the billing counter. To my dismay i found only 10 items out 40 were available. It was very tiring bouncing back and front between table and counter to figure out available items and place the order. The place is so conjusted, i found moving inside a fully packed unreserved compartment a pleasent experience. I can't comprehend with the price point. Mediocre tasting, a plate of 6 Pani poori's costed 50Rs, whereas i could find a panipuri stall 100ms down the lane which serves delicious pani puris at 20Rs. Even he serves 7 puris per plate. Dont get me started on main menu. Pricing is outrageous. I orderd a plate of bland 6 chicken cheese balls costed Rs.350. And there is no space to park even a bicycle.
Overall this place is way too expensive for the quality of food and experience. It is like getting charged flight ticket price for a travel in unreserved...
