I had a very unpleasant experience at this outlet. I went for a dine-in and paid via UPI. The payment was successfully processed on my end, and I even received a bank confirmation. However, their server was down, and the staff insisted that I pay again, assuring me that the earlier amount would be refunded.
I took the staff member’s number and shared all the payment details with her on the same day. She told me to wait for three working days for the refund. After three days, I followed up with a call—she said she’d check and get back to me. That never happened. She didn’t even open my messages for almost two weeks. During that time, I kept calling her every other day, and each time I got the same vague response: “Will check and get back to you.”
I get that it’s a busy outlet, but ignoring a customer who’s actively following up is just not acceptable.
Eventually, I contacted Domino’s support, and they told me that only the store manager could initiate the refund. Frustrated, I had to travel all the way back to the store—around 20 km from my place—just to follow up in person. After going through the details, the same staff member said, “If you had sent these documents, we would’ve initiated the refund.” Ironically, I was showing her the exact chat where I had already shared everything two weeks ago.
She then called the manager, who said it would take another two days to process. At that point, I was done. I sarcastically said, “Glad I visited your outlet—just give me a pizza worth the refund amount,” and left with that.
