I recently purchased your “Classic Smoky Turmeric Country Chicken With Skin” (1.18 kg), expecting it to be genuine Nati Koli (country chicken) as advertised. However, upon unpacking, cleaning, and cooking the meat, I realized this was not a true native breed but rather a small broiler chicken, possibly marinated in turmeric for misleading customers. Here’s why: • The leg bones were short and stocky, unlike the long, lean limbs typical of desi breeds. • The meat was pale and lacked the characteristic firmness and fibrous texture of country chicken. • It cooked fully in just 15 minutes on a stovetop, which is consistent with broiler meat, not with slow-cooking native poultry. • The smell, structure, and taste were unmistakably that of a young broiler or commercial hybrid, not what you expect from a bird raised on natural feed and open movement. This is concerning because the product is priced significantly higher atleast double the cost of regular chicken under the promise of quality and authenticity. What I received was simply an expensive, turmeric-coated broiler chicken passed off as "country chicken". I was not asking for a return or refund the second time you sent me a broiler chicken. Instead, I’ve raised a ticket requesting your team to investigate the vendor/supplier responsible for this batch. Also, please stop gaslighting your customer. Kindly give the benefit of doubt and look carefully into your vendors. Plan some Quality control. Don’t waste my time by telling me that it’s “another breed” of country chicken. Your customer care informed me that the vendor has shared some photos for our verifications. Is this how your Quality control work? By the photos that vendor shares? I wonder how many more times in the last one year that I bought my non veg and sometimes veg, you have sent me a low quality product and only this time I know it’s not what I paid for. Please verify the authenticity of the meat being sold under the “country chicken” label. Transparency and honesty are essential when it comes to food sourcing. I hope this feedback helps you improve quality checks and protect your customers from misleading claims. Let me know as a professional in mapping customer experience I can help you improve your service.
Update : About a week ago, I left this detailed review about my experience, and the business replied saying they would "look into it." Since then, I have not heard a single update regarding their investigation or what steps (if any) were taken to address the issue. They had more than enough time and every possible means to reach out to me, yet chose not to.
This update is to inform everyone about the level of customer care service and the apparent lack of effective quality control. When a business charges premium prices especially in food and beverages which is directly correlated with health and safety, the least it can do is follow up, keep the customer informed, and ensure the problem is rectified! Unfortunately, that did not happen here.
I will now be deleting their app, as they have failed to rebuild my trust. I encourage others to do the same with any business that cannot deliver on its promises. A lost customer should matter!!! especially when, having worked on the other side, I know the real cost of acquiring even a single...
Read moreAfter a recommendation from a product owner at Freshtohome, I began using their service for meat, fish, and occasionally fruits. Although the products are pricier, I appreciated the freshness and chemical-free quality.
However, after three months, I had a serious issue. My mother and wife developed food poisoning after consuming a 3-pack of chicken I’d ordered. I reported this to Freshtohome, and they assured me they would look into it and process a refund. Trusting their response, I continued using the service.
A week later, I received a 3-pack order of shark fish cubes, only to find they were spoiled with discolored patches and an unpleasant smell, which my wife noticed while washing the fish. I contacted customer service, who asked me to send photos via email. Since the fish smelled bad, I confirmed we had to dispose of it, which the representative acknowledged.
The following day, a Freshtohome representative called to discuss the issue further. Later, I received another call asking if the spoiled fish had indeed been discarded, which I confirmed. At that point, they informed me they could only offer 50% of the order value in store credit, rather than a full refund.
This was frustrating as I had been assured a full refund for the previous chicken order as well, yet only received a partial amount without clear communication. The lack of consistency and transparency in handling refunds and the absence of clear guidance on returns have left me feeling let down by Freshtohome’s service.
I am scammed now - good bye...
Read moreABSOLUTE FRAUD: FTH_DAILY IS A SCAM AND A RIP-OFF! DO NOT SUBSCRIBE! If I could give this zero stars, I would. This "app" is nothing more than a front for taking your money and delivering absolutely nothing. This is not a delivery service; it is a SCAM.
I paid for a long-term subscription, trusting them to deliver basic daily goods. After the payment was processed, they immediately DENIED the delivery of my prepaid items.
This company operates unethically:
THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY FIRST. Once the subscription is paid, your prepaid amount is effectively held hostage.
DELIVERY IS NON-EXISTENT/UNRELIABLE. They fail to deliver the most basic items and offer zero explanation, often marking orders as "delivered" when they were not (a common complaint I've seen).
CUSTOMER SUPPORT IS A JOKE. The support channels are designed to fail. You cannot get a meaningful response, and if you try to raise a ticket, the app frequently glitches or you are met with silence. They simply do not care about stranded customers or stolen funds.
WARNING TO PROSPECTIVE USERS: Do not believe the convenience promised. You will recharge your wallet, and they will run with your cash. You will receive no goods and will waste weeks fighting for a refund they will likely never provide.
AVOID FTH_DAILY AT ALL COSTS. REPORT THEM TO YOUR BANK AND CONSUMER PROTECTION AGENCIES...
