A Delightful Culinary Experience with Room to Grow

Stepping into Restaurant Garci in Jayanagar, I was immediately struck by the superb ambiance – it truly sets a wonderful mood for dining. The service was equally impressive; the staff were incredibly courteous and genuinely delightful, offering insightful suggestions on portion sizes that helped us make the perfect order. Plus, valet parking is a huge convenience in this area! Now, onto the food! The Tom Kha Phak soup was a flavor explosion – hot and incredibly aromatic, a perfect start. We also enjoyed the Veg Shami Kebab, which was well-prepared. The Thai Basil Chilli Tofu stood out as wonderfully soft and delicious, and the Halloumi was beautifully presented. The absolute highlight for me, though, was the Spinach Cannelloni – it was truly excellent! My only slight disappointment was the Tokyo Veg Ramen. As someone who's had authentic Japanese ramen, I found it to be a bit average. Also, it's worth noting that the portions are generally smaller than you might typically find elsewhere. Given the high competition in Jayanagar, I think Garci has an excellent foundation. To truly stand out, I'd love to see some innovative chaat options added to the menu. Imagine unique, gourmet twists on classic chaat – that could really elevate the offerings and attract even more diners! Overall, Restaurant Garci offers a fantastic dining experience with its great food, inviting atmosphere, and stellar service. I highly recommend it, and I'm excited to see how they continue to evolve their menu! Feedback limited to 4 stars due to menu which although offers wide selection but...

Garci in Jayanagar is a bold, genre-bending culinary playground—where European finesse meets Japanese flair, and South Indian comfort gets a gourmet twist. It’s not just a meal, it’s a mood.

If you’re wandering through Jayanagar 7th Block and craving something unexpected yet deeply satisfying, Garci is your destination. With a menu that spans European, Continental, Japanese, North and South Indian cuisines, this place doesn’t play safe—it plays symphonic.

🍽️ Sticky highlights: Japanese Teriyaki Chicken Bowl – umami-rich and beautifully plated Butter Garlic Prawns – indulgent, aromatic, and perfectly seared Mushroom Stroganoff – creamy, earthy, and surprisingly comforting Filter Coffee Tiramisu – a South-meets-Italy dessert that deserves its own fan club

🪩 Why it sticks: Ambience: Chic, cozy, and perfect for date nights or solo journaling sessions Service: Attentive without being overbearing—staff know the menu and make great recommendations Price: ₹1600–₹1900 for two, but the experience feels premium Timing: Open noon to 4 PM, then 7 PM to 11 PM—ideal for long lunches or late dinners

Garci isn’t trying to be everything to everyone—it’s curating a vibe for those who appreciate fusion done right. Whether you’re sipping a mocktail or diving into a Japanese curry, every dish feels like a small celebration.

If you’re documenting your culinary rituals or building a guide to Bengaluru’s hidden gems, Garci deserves a stylized shoutout. Want help turning this into a badge-worthy post or a cosmic food map? I’m ready...

It’s refreshing to see so many all-vegetarian restaurants pushing creative boundaries these days — and Garci in Jayanagar is one such exciting entrant. The concept is global veg fusion, and they really mean global - not just by including an international menu, but also by taking local South Indian favourites and giving them a global spin.

The ambience isn’t particularly striking - simple and functional , but what the place lacks in décor, it makes up for with an inventive menu. Prices are on the higher side, but the spread is intriguing enough to tempt you into exploring.

We started with European appetizers - Halloumi and Spanakopita, both surprisingly good. But the real star of the evening was the Yavai Maki Sushi beautifully presented, balanced, and absolutely delicious. It was easily the highlight of our meal.

The Pan-Asian and Pan-Indian sections of the menu are fascinating bringing together flavours from Delhi, Mangalore, Kodagu, Mysuru, Alappuzha, and Chettinad, alongside influences from Mongolia, Korea, Thailand, China, and Japan. That’s quite the passport on a plate!

Service was prompt, courteous, and professional. The presentation of dishes was also impressive. You can tell they put thought into the visual appeal.

Overall, Garci is a good spot if you’re looking to explore vegetarian food with a global twist. While the food could use a bit more flair to create a lasting impact, the creativity and concept make it worth a visit. And if you go, don’t miss...

If you’re looking for a new place to excite your taste buds and charm your Instagram feed, look no further than the newly opened Garci— a 150-seater pure vegetarian gem that’s turning heads with its global take on meat-free cuisine. From the moment you walk in, the ambience sets the tone for a delightful experience. Think soft pastel walls, blush-pink seating, floral accents, and dreamy lighting — every corner here is a photo-op waiting to happen. It’s equal parts cozy and chic, perfect for dates, family outings, or brunch with friends. What sets this place apart is its innovative and inclusive menu that spans South Indian, North Indian, European, and even Jain-friendly options, all under one roof — and all 100% vegetarian. There’s a serious focus on flavor, presentation, and creativity. Their Levantine Sambusak is a perfect starter — crisp, golden pastry pockets filled with spiced goodness. The Halloumi with Chilly Creamy Garlic is a standout — rich, tangy, and utterly addictive. Don’t miss the Mangalore Baale Huvu Unde, a regional delicacy reinvented with finesse. For dessert, the Tuscan Trifle is an elegant, indulgent treat that balances sweetness with a hint of fruit and cream — a must-have to end your meal on a high. The staff is courteous, warm, and well-informed about the diverse menu, which helps guide you through their vast offerings. Portions are generous, and the plating is artistic without overdone. I can’t wait to go back and try more!
