TLDR: Incompetent manager. Rude and disrespectful staff with zero regard for customers.
Worst customer service I've experienced in a long time. In fact the service was so bad we got fed up and left the place without ordering anything. The staff have zero training and seem to hate working at the place. After close to an hour of waiting we couldn't even place an order.
First we were asked to sit on the ground floor where supposedly there's no "service" and we need to place the order via a website. But that site was broken and after informing the people there multiple times about it, one finally came over with an angry look on his face as if we'd asked him for his kidney. 15 minutes after taking our order he comes back to say we need to go sit upstairs coz that's the only place where they take orders manually. Even though this was highly upsetting we went and sat upstairs in the hope we'll get our food.
But there again we were made to wait for 15 min more without a single waiter approaching our table to enquire us. When we finally managed to get hold of one, he says our order hasn't actually been placed (????) and tells another waiter standing in the corner to come take our order. This other waiter was in his own world and after failing to get his attention for about 15 minutes our patience ran out and we decided to leave the place.
While walking off we confronted this day dreamer as to why he didn't come take our order and he had the audacity to reply back saying we didn't approach HIM to give HIM our order. Like seriously???? The guy had absolutely no remorse and went on arguing with us about how he was not the one at fault. I have never ever experienced such a thing in my life and was totally taken aback by his rudeness.
Finally as we left we got hold of the so called manager of the place and that guy was as clueless as everyone else. The guy made no effort to correct the situation or so much as say a couple of words let alone issue an apology. No wonder his employees are so rude without having an ounce of courtesy or care for their customers.
Never setting foot in this place again and would strongly encourage others to do the same unless you want to take the risk of your evening...
Read moreVisited Tea Villa Café recently to try out their newly launched anniversary menu. The cafe is really warm and cozy. A perfect environment to be in when you want to unwind after a tiring day or want to spark a conversation with someone.
We started off with a few of their signature teas- the Kashmiri Kahwa, Moroccan mint and Berry Bunch. The Kashmiri Kahwa is probably one of the best teas I’ve had. It had a wafting aroma of spices typical to Kashmir- cinnamon, clove and saffron. It was topped with slivers of almonds as well. Very rich and royal!
The Moroccan mint is a strong peppermint tea that is soothing and refreshing. The berry bunch however is not so potent, it’s quite subtle.
In the anniversary menu we tried the strawberry macchiato and tiramisu walnut shake. The strawberry macchiato had too much bitter coffee which completely masked the flavour of the strawberry. The tiramisu shake was good though.
For starters we tried the crystal dim sum (which was soft, tender and delicious) and chilli garlic mushroom and paneer (the paneer was so tender and tossed in a tangy, spicy and garlicky sauce)
For main course we tried the ravioli in pesto bell pepper sauce from their anniversary menu which consisted of delicate pasta filled with blanched spinach tossed in a creamy bell pepper sauce which tasted great.
The paneer steak sizzler, also from the anniversary menu tasted lovely too. Everything from the rice to the sautéed veggies to the paneer was perfectly flavoured and spiced. I especially loved the black pepper sauce with it. It wasn’t too overpowering as I anticipated it to be.
The paneer tikka pizza from the usual menu is very cheesy and decadent.
For desserts we tried the chocolate brownie affogatto and the banana fritters with vanilla ice cream. The affogatto was quite good. The fritters were a bit too sweet for my liking.
Overall I enjoyed the food and teas. The staff are courteous and friendly. A special mention to our server Mr. Sanjay and manager Mr. Sinto. They took extreme care...

Place : the cafe looks unique and gives us Italy vibes from outside for its architecture and colour chosen.when we enter the cafe we get black board containing days special or menu and there are total 2 stories or floor , ground floor with less space and very cozy interior with swings seaters and food contour in middle. Second floor has outdoor sitting and indoor sitting with enough space to spend with friends and family on any occasion. Food : I had ordered mushroom roast (3/5) I felt I should have been cooked little more , banana Nutella pancakes(5/5) must try, veg ramen(4.5/5), chocolate coffee(3/5) and orange mock tails(4/5).
The menu has veg and non-veg option. A bar code needs to scanned to find menu and once decided the staff will be there to take your order. The menu consists variety of starters pizza burger ,noodles , and they are famous for coffee , you can find a lot of options for tea and coffee as the name says. We even get mock-tails , soda , fresh juices.
Parking- since the cafe is in main road there will be enough space to park along main road , free parking.
The average price per person may cost 1000rupee, the only issue is with washroom as its general washroom cleanliness have to be maintained by cafe authorities and during monsoon or evening out side sitting areas have mosquito issue.
As I did not see any pet I doubt it was pet friendly cafe ,kindly contact property to enquire.
