"I recently visited Yedavaru Lake Park, and I must say, it's a hidden gem! The park is beautifully maintained, with lush greenery, vibrant flowers, and a serene lake that's perfect for boating or simply taking in the views. Highlights: - *Scenic Lake*: The lake is the park's crown jewel, offering stunning views, especially during sunset. - *Walking Trails*: The park has well-marked walking trails that are perfect for a leisurely stroll or a more intense workout. - *Picnic Spots*: There are plenty of picnic spots throughout the park, making it an ideal spot for family outings or romantic dates. - *Birdwatching*: The park is a birdwatcher's paradise, with a wide variety of species calling the lake and surrounding areas home. Tips: - *Best Time to Visit*: Visit the park during the early morning or late evening to avoid the crowds and heat. - *Boating*: Don't miss the opportunity to take a boat ride on the lake. It's a truly unforgettable experience! - *Food and Drink*: Bring your own food and drinks, as options within the park are limited. Overall: Yedavaru Lake Park is a must-visit destination for anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle of city life. Its natural beauty, peaceful atmosphere, and range of activities make it an ideal spot for families, couples, and solo visitors alike. Can't wait to visit again!" I recently visited Yediyur Lake in Bangalore, and it was such a refreshing experience! The lake is beautiful, and the peaceful atmosphere made it the perfect spot to relax. I tried pedal boating there, and it was absolutely worth it. The cost was just ₹50 per head for 30 minutes, and honestly, it felt like a steal for the experience. The weather was cool when I went, which made the whole ride even more enjoyable. The lake is surrounded by greenery, and I loved spotting so many different types of birds—it’s definitely a treat for nature lovers. The calm water and the sounds of chirping birds made the outing so peaceful. The place is well-maintained, and everything felt clean and organized. It’s a great spot whether you’re visiting with family, friends, or even alone. For me, it was a perfect break from the usual city noise and chaos. If you’re in Bangalore and looking for a relaxing activity that doesn’t break the bank, I’d highly recommend visiting Yediyur Lake. Don’t miss out on the boating—it’s simple but so much fun!

Here's my experience at Yediyur Lake The lake is really huge and is located at by the main road. The lake is surrounded by a walking lane and people can opt for boating as well. There are birds and rabbits kept in cages in the park. I personally am not a fan of caging animals, however the lake itself is home to a variety of bird species and it really is beautiful. The park has speakers with music playing. Again, I'm not very happy about this because we come to a lake for peace and to escape the noise. They could play peaceful music instead of movie songs. The lake is clean on the outside but you can find plastic floating around here and there. The lake could be maintained better. There is a playground for kids and gyms for adults, which is an amazing facility. The park opens at 7 AM and closes at 6 PM. There is plenty of place for parking infront of the park entrance. I would recommend this place if you want to take walks and exercise. However there are better maintained lakes in Bangalore if you wish to visit.

A beautiful lake in the centre of the city. The lake has lots of birds - both resident and visiting. It is so nice to spot the birds, identify them and observe their behaviour. i enjoyed a visiting painted stork sitting on a boat in the lake. Nice to see the cormorants opening their wings to dry themselves. You can have a nice conversation with the wag tails. There is a small island inside the lake. There are few colourful boats for tourists to take it for 1/2 an hour. They wear colourful lifebuoys while boating. Small turtles and big fishes are kept in small pond. The metal sculpture of boys trying to dive is nice. There is a full round jogging tract - tree lined both sides. Gym is full of activity by the adults. The children's play area is well maintained and safe for children below 10 years. Poor teenagers - they were chased out of children's play area and the gym. They were playing hide and seek without disturbing others. They is a small cafeteria serving water, ice candies and ice creams. There are boards about the birds found in the lake. The lake's jogging tract, gym and children's play area are opened only for few hours in the morning and evening. The footpath on the side of the road leading to the lake is well maintained. Evenings need mosquito repellant to sit relaxed on the benches...
