It is so nice to spot the birds, identify them and observe their behaviour. i enjoyed a visiting painted stork sitting on a boat in the lake. Nice to see the cormorants opening their wings to dry themselves. You can have a nice conversation with the wag tails. There is a small island inside the lake. There are few colourful boats for tourists to take it for 1/2 an hour. They wear colourful lifebuoys while boating. Small turtles and big fishes are kept in small pond. The metal sculpture of boys trying to dive is nice. There is a full round jogging tract - tree lined both sides. Gym is full of activity by the adults. The children's play area is well maintained and safe for children below 10 years. Poor teenagers - they were chased out of children's play area and the gym. They were playing hide and seek without disturbing others. They is a small cafeteria serving water, ice candies and ice creams. There are boards about the birds found in the lake. The lake's jogging tract, gym and children's play area are opened only for few hours in the morning and evening. The footpath on the side of the road leading to the lake is well maintained. The weather was cool when I went, which made the whole ride even more enjoyable. The lake is surrounded by greenery, and I loved spotting so many different types of birds—it’s definitely a treat for nature lovers. The calm water and the sounds of chirping birds made the outing so peaceful.
The place is well-maintained, and everything felt clean and organized. It’s a great spot whether you’re visiting with family, friends, or even alone. For me, it was a perfect break from the usual city noise and chaos.
