There is also a recently installed statue of Swami Vivekananda.

There is boating in the park as well. They advertise paddle boats, row boats and motor boats, but when we went only paddle boats were functional.

There are a lot of water birds that come here, including egrets, herons, kingfishers, cormorants etc. There is a small island with some trees. There are a few ducks and geese as well...

Strangely, there is an enclosure with caged birds - parakéets and budgies here...

There is a small almirah with some books, labelled as a library. There are enough benches to sit and do some light reading...

All around the walking path, there are speakers that play old kannada melodies.

There is also a pay and use toilet here.
