Go Native 🍃 I tried many items from the menu. Soups, Starters, Beverages, Main Course & Desserts. I shall briefly explain you all the items I have tasted.

• Carrot Coconut Ginger - It had that twist in the Ingredients. It was much cleansing while having each spoon.

• Mushroom Chilli Potato - This was highlighted above all three soups. It was spicy and good in taste.

• Roasted Pumpkin Orange - This was normal in taste.

• Aloo Patha Bhindi Chat - It had much desi ingredients. Aloo Chat was topped with deep fried Bindhi. Accomplished with Palak Papdi.

• Harabara Sabudana Kebab - Combination of Harabara & Sabudana. It was something new. Accomplished with coconut chutney & mango chutney.

• Cheesy Maddur Vada - Traditional Maddur Vada stuffed with a pinch of Cheese. It was oily.

• Pav Platter - Combination of different vada. Pav had stolen the taste of vada. It was masala pav, hence the taste of entire Pav was spicy & couldn't get that taste from Vada. I recommend management to look after this dish.

• Crunchy Sweet Potato Jalapeno Roll - Combination of Sweet Potato, Jalapeno, Lettuce & Spinach. Roll was fresh and unique in taste.

• Lotus Stem Stuffed Mini Guntur Idli - Steamed Chatpata lotus Stem Stuffed mini idli tossed with Guntoor chutney powder & spices. This is one of my favourite from the small plate menu.

• Pita with Beetroot Hummus & Channa Masala - Whole wheat pita bread served with Beetroot Hummus & Chickpea masala. Bread was bit dry and not that great. Hummus fragrance was good, but that taste was not upto the mark.

• Mango & Mint Smoothie - Combination of Mango & Mint. Smoothie was perfectly blended.

• Khus Lemon Sorbet - Khus syrup with lemon juice and mint. It was much normal & usual.

• Choco Peanut Butter Shake - Blended with Chocolate, Milk, Choc Ice-cream & Peanut Butter. It was much natural & homemade taste.

• Jackfruit & Coconut Milkshake - Very rare and deadly combination where I had never tasted earlier. It tasted much like Chikoo.

• Cucumber Chaas - Buttermilk with Cucumber.

• Buddha Bowl with Brown Rice - Combo of Brown ricd, 3 types of gravies, veggies and more.

• Ragi Pizza - Thin crust ragi pizza topped with sundried tomato pesto sauce, mozzarella cheese, peppers, cherry tomatoes, sweet corn, pickled jalapeno & caramelized onion. This too was something new and innovative in the menu. I had never herd ragi base pizza. I shall recommend Ragi Pizza for pizza lovers.

• Shahi Palak & Paneer Jalfreezi Casserole - Shahi Palak, Jeera Pulao, Paneer Jalfreezi & Cheddar baked casserole served with crispy ladies finger. This was a good bowl of Paneer combo.

• Millet & Palak Khichdi - Pearl Millet & spinach Khichdi served with cucumber mint raitha & vadagams. It was more more healthy in taste.

• Corn Kofta Curry - Shahi curry with corn Kofta served with chapati or plain rice & vadagams. Pulkas were hot served with Corn Kofta Curry.

• Kathal Biryani - Raw Jackfruit biryani served with cucumber mint raita & vadagams. Biryani Rice was good in taste. It was bit oily but had a great taste.

• Dal Poori - Channa Dal stuffed poori served with dum Aloo chilly curry & seasonal accomplishment. Poori was thick in size. Subzis were good in taste.

• Jackfruit, Ice Apple & Coconut Trifle - Presentation of this dessert itself has secured the marks. Trifle concept dessert with Jackfruit, Ice Apple & Coconut fruits.

• Lemon Cheesecake Tart with Jackfruit Compote - Cripsy sweet tart stuffed with lemon cheesecake & topped with Jackfruit compete. Tarts were small & good in taste.

• Matka Vanilla Pudding with Gulab Jamun - Vanilla pudding stuffed with dry gulab jamun & nuts. Gulab Jamun & Vanilla is an extraordinary combination. I don't know why it was not that great.

• Halubai Platter - North Karnataka Sweet with 3 flavours where Rice, Wheat & Ragi. It was bit thick & hard.

• Apple & Cinnamon Cake with Vanilla Ice-cream - Cake was not that great. Cake was not stiff and fresh. Vanilla ice cream was good.

• Flavoured Baked Yoghurt - Black Grape & Gulkhand baked yoghurt. Gulkhand Yoghurt...

My food craving and my lethargy to ride somewhere else makes me stick to my native area Namma Jayanagara and recently I saw this place which was all brightly lit with a very special looking ambience here in 4th T block named Go Native and went here for dinner !

Located on one of the widest roads in Jayanagar ,is this lovely little restaurant ,it's very easy to locate as it is situated on the road parallel to the Jayanagar bus stand and it's also easily locatable from the road ,speaking about the ambience ,the place is a cafe along with a store which has clothes , accessories and edibles which are all made by local farmers and tribals ! These goods are all eco-friendly ! The ambience has this rustic look to it ,where an old house has been revamped into a cafe ,I really liked the balcony section where one can sit and relish the food by taking in the breeze which blows over ! Wooden tables and comfortable chairs ,the lights and fans here are very well done and the architect and the interior decorator has used their intellectual property to the fullest ! The only thing to crib here are the lights ,which are hung too low ,anybody who is as tall as I'm or even shorter when they get up and walk will band their heads to this cane woven lights ! All I can say is that the ambience is short of captivating one's mind to another world !

Started our meal here with their soups ,the carrot coconut ginger soup was really good ,I felt the portion also apt as its viscosity is on the higher side ,served with a slice of garlic bread and flax seeds on top ,tasted well ,but the pumpkin soup on the other hand was not on par with the carrot and coconut combination!

Aloo patta bhindi chat is a mixture of ladies finger, spinach and aloo dipped and air fried in very light batter ,this starter was really light and filling ,tasted good too ,then tried the fig and green salad ,which had a combination of figs ,sweet like and vegetables and spices ,tatsed yum ,I recommend everyone to try this sale here .

Hara Bara Sabudana Vada was looking a really dark but it tasted real good ,I liked the size and also the chutney with which it was served ,another recommendable dish ,the Mangalore buns was served with a sweet coconut based chutney ,good stuff ,the cheesy Maddur Vada is nothing but a Maddur Vada with cheese infused in it ,kinda good and satisfied my cheese craving here ! The Jalapeno sweet potato roll was the only thing I disliked here ,it was filled with too much of flavour which is overwhelming to the pallet !

The main course is really interesting ,started with a millet palak kichidi ,tasted YUM ,I could finish the entire bowl which was served with a Sabudana happla and raita ,good stuff ,tried the Ragi Pizza too , interestingly the pizza was nothing different than a regular thin crust pizza ,I really did not know that the ragi base tatsed that great!

Khus Lemon Sorbet and Mango Mint Smoothie are the recommendable drinks here ,the former one is a refreshing water based lemon and pudina juice with jaggery the latter being a mango and a mint smoothie which was added with very little sugar to amplify the natural flavours !

The desserts here what we tried are flavoured baked yogurt ,blueberry and gulkan flavours ,really yum ,the portions were also bearable ,not to big or not to small ,good stuff !

Beverages which I loved, Ice apple chia milkshake - a must try, smoothly blended apple milkshake. Black grape and banana smoothie - loved the combination, taste was not bad. but one can try this.

Main course, Ragi pizza - fresh and wow taste, topped with pesto sauce, mozarella cheese, mushroom, cherry, tomato, sweet corn, jalapeno and onion. Green and fresh pizza with ragi base. Must try. Millet palak khichdi - tasted same like palak rice, it was good. Dal poori - given with aam ras along side and chutney, it went well with both. Go native buddha bowl - comes with salad, a millet sweet and some of the lip smacking palyas. Mango special thali - seasonal thali, a must try, loved the mango rice, tangy and tasty.

Desserts, Jackfruit, Ice apple and coconut trifle - amazing taste, more of a traditional jackfruit sweet taste, very tasty. loved the presentation. Matka venilla pudding with gulab jamun - gulab jamun is topped with vvenilla pudding which is served in a matka. loved the combination.

Taste-5/5 Ambience-4.5/5 Quality-4.5/5 Quantity-4/5 Price-3.5/5 Worth it ? - Yes , totally worth it ! One would feel very light after eating here ,good place to savour a menu which is changed as per the season of availability of ingredients Whether I would visit them again ? - Yes , definitely ,again when I feel that I need to eat ealthy and detox myself ! :)
