Read moreBy far the worst team lunch ever. The service is super delayed, and not a single staff serves with a smile or ask if the customers need anything. They are all in their own world and working at a snails pace.
This food served is mostly prepared from a catering service from outside and served. 1200₹ for such a food is day light robbing.
The veg and chicken biryani both were pudina rice with either a few pieces of veggies or chicken... The chicken pieces were so few that in 10 mins it got over
The lighting arrangement around the food area is so poor we couldn't read the name of the item being served.
The non-veg starters were surprisingly with bones. No where in so many team lunch events we saw starters being served with bones.
There was no proper water facility. So unknown water cans were brought and poured into a green dispenser without lid. Guests had to go to the dispenser to collect water. This is not expected when corporate members visit for a lunch event.... Hence the feeling it is a catering service and nothing other than that.
The icing of the day was freely moving lizards in the food display area. And stay just don't blink eye to shoo away the reptile with hand and return back to serving food with the same hands.
Unfortunately, none of the staff had any answers when we asked about such poor service or quality.
It is highly unprofessional place and I am sure how those star ratings are arrived at.
It is possible it is good only for people who go to have alcohol and dance etc. But as a team lunch/dinner event location, it ranks among the worse one can ever imagine.
Update: the restaurant kept calling asking us to change the reviews and offered food and alcohol for about 10 members. We ended up blocking their numbers due to...
Read moreThis restaurant is doing a scam. I've visited Hashtag twice. My first experience was good. However, the 2nd experience today was as terrible as it could be.
The staff forced me to pay the service charge. I had a bill of 20k+ and they still forced me to pay a service charge of 2k on that amount (even though I was not happy with the service).
The manager and the service person are fraudsters. They were prompt enough to show me the terms and conditions.
But when I asked them where is it written in district app that a 10% service charge would be levied, they drew a blank face. If it is not written that a 10% service charge would be levied at the restaurant's discretion, how can a customer make a decision? Customers would be thinking that the service charge is already baked in the prices of products.
When I asked them to give me the owners contact, they said you can find them via the gst number. I'll definitely find it via the gst number but avoid this restaurant at all costs. They're scamsters and charge you even when you are not satisfied with the service.
My booking was via the district app but district was also not able to give me a proper resolution.
Would not recommend this place just for the experience that I had to go through on a Friday evening. It was unwarranted and painful.
I'm never going back to this...
