I recently visited this hotel and had an absolutely delightful experience! The first thing that impressed me was how clean and well-maintained the kitchen is. As someone who pays close attention to hygiene, I really appreciated the effort the staff puts into keeping everything spotless. The owners are incredibly courteous and genuinely care about every customer. They personally ensure that everyone is comfortable and satisfied with their meal, which makes the whole experience feel warm and welcoming. One standout feature is the clear segregation of vegetarian and non-vegetarian areas in the kitchen. This thoughtful arrangement shows their respect for different dietary preferences and adds an extra layer of trust for guests. Now, let’s talk about the food! Even though I’m not a seafood fan, I was pleasantly surprised by the variety of options available. There are plenty of delicious chicken, egg, and vegetarian dishes to choose from. Each dish was flavourful and freshly prepared. If you visit, make sure you try the Solkadi – it’s an absolute must! Refreshing and unique, it perfectly complements the meal. Overall, I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for great food, a clean environment, and truly caring hosts. I’m looking forward to...
Read moreA Biriyani That Wasn’t
The other day, I ordered a biriyani at this restaurant. They took about 10 minutes to serve it🤔 which got me wondering—why so long? I was expecting something special.😋
But when the biriyani arrived, I was surprised. It looked more like chitranna or lemon rice, just with a twist—two chicken leg pieces placed on top. That’s it. They had simply mixed plain rice with some pre-made gravy, tossed in a couple of chicken pieces, and called it biriyani.🤮
At first, I felt a little cheated. But after seeing those leg pieces, I tried to convince myself, "Okay... maybe it still counts as chicken biriyani." I decided to let it go and eat.🤭
Now, I’m not even going to talk about the price—it definitely wasn’t cheap 💰
But here’s my innocent question:🙋.???
If you don’t know how to make biriyani, why not just say it’s not available?
Why pretend and serve something else entirely?
There are so many ways to make money honestly…
Note - It’s genius review I have bill and...
Read moreHidden Gem in JP Nagar! While taking a walk through JP Nagar, I came across this newly opened restaurant. Being a fan of coastal cuisine, I always test a place with Anjal curry and Neer Dosa—if that’s done well, everything else usually is too. They came quite close!
The ambience has a nostalgic old Bengaluru vibe—clean, cozy, and thoughtfully set up. Staff was quick with the order and served on time.
What really stood out was the warmth of the owners, Ankita and Abhishek. They personally came over to ask for feedback, and post-lunch, I had a great chat with them. Abhishek even gave me a short tour of their spotless kitchen and explained how they stock fresh seafood in small batches, especially during the rains. Love the commitment to quality and freshness!
Giving 5 stars for ambience, service, and the team’s passion. Holding back 1 star on the food for now—but I'm sure that'll go up on my next visit. Wishing them all the best, and fingers crossed for a branch...
