The rating of 1 is given only because of how they treated their regular client, who used to visit there at least twice in a month or more, when an incident happened there on last New Year night.
I used to be a regular customer at Le Grapes. I found it a better place among other restobars nearby. However the way the management responded when my mobile phone was stolen from the restaurant on the New Year eve can’t be forgiven, hence this post. I requested the manager as well as met the owner for help to check who stole the phone as there were multiple cctvs available and I was sitting right in front of one of the cctvs. My repeated follow up with the owner didn’t yield any result and later he gave a casual reply that nothing was visible. There was enough light at the place where I was sitting and I’m 100% percent sure that he would have got a clear visual. Hence my suspicion is that somebody from the restaurant only might have done the theft and the owner doesn’t want to disclose it.
I have been contemplating whether to put this incident here in reviews and decided to do it as people should know what is the treatment one gets when something like this happens. If this is how a regular customer is being treated, one can understand the plight of others. My advice to those friends who go there is ‘don’t be confident that you are in a secure place. You are not. And you won’t get proper support in case of any issues’.

If those are in working condition, I'm sure you would have got clear visuals of the incident. I had registered a police complaint the very next day after the theft. There was no news regarding the complaint till I put the above review.Surprisingly, the police could trace and get my phone back within a few days after this. I had a really frustrating experience with Grapes resto bar. I made a reservation well in advance on May via Swiggy for RCB finals on 3rd June, and everything was confirmed. I got a call today around 1:58pm twice which I couldn't receive as I was in a meeting and I called them back at 2:40pm and the person on the other side said your reservation is cancelled which was made through Swiggy/Zomato as we're not taking through them. I told them why wasn't it communicated well in advance for which he said we had told them already not to take any reservations from Sunday and asked me to check other restaurants. I said I booked on Saturday and if you tell it now in last minute I wouldn't get anywhere else and we had planned with family. He said I'll check and let you know and disconnected and from next second the number is switched off.
The lack of communication and professionalism was incredibly disappointing. Trying to find another place on such short notice was stressful and nearly impossible.
I went personally and checked with them why they cancelled and they said just because I didn't receive the call they cancelled my booking. And this is 5 hours before the event. I called them 40 mins later and they didn't even give me proper reasons over call and made me visit personally. Later when I confronted them with all my call history and reservation details they said we'll provide a place and showed me table number 14 from which the screen itself is not visible for one side of the seat. They need business but doesn't care about customer experience. Since the restaurant was completely booked they now don't care about other customers who are potential customers in future. I had visited last Tuesday for LSG vs RCB match and I often visit them.

I don't understand why do they even hire staff who are so judgemental and rude in the first place for a service industry! We pay for everything we eat or drink there not like we are coming for free! Last evening I had been there with my friend and the person who served us was way beyond horrible!
