Extremely Disappointed & Deeply Concerned – Kailash Parbat, Please Take Note
I’m writing this review with genuine concern and disappointment.
I ordered through Swiggy lunch today from Kailash Parbat (around 1:30 PM) expecting the usual high standards the brand is known for. But what we received was completely unacceptable.
From the very first bite, I felt something was off — the taste wasn’t right, the quality felt stale, and it simply didn’t taste like Kailash Parbat food. I even called the restaurant after lunch to confirm whether the food was actually from their outlet or if something had gone wrong in delivery. They confirmed it was indeed their food. This made it even more shocking.
By evening, the issue became even more evident. My wife—who’s a pure vegetarian and a regular at Kailash Parbat—tasted the food again around 6 PM, and it had clearly gone bad and was fully spoiled. There’s no doubt the food was contaminated or already in the process of spoiling when it reached us. This isn’t a case of bad taste—it’s a serious health hazard.
We live nearby and have always respected Kailash Parbat for its vegetarian quality, even recommending it to others. I’ve dined at their outlets in India and Singapore, and never expected such negligence.
This isn’t just about food—it’s about trust and health. If we can't trust even reputed names like Kailash Parbat, then honestly, God help us. Food safety should never be compromised—especially when families and children are involved, and when people are about to travel or go about their workday.
Please take this feedback seriously. I sincerely hope the management investigates the unit, the storage standards, and takes corrective steps before anyone...
Read moreI recently had dinner with my family at Kailash Parbat and I must say it was one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had. The food was not just disappointing—it was downright unacceptable.
Starting with the Chole Bhature, it was swimming in an excessive amount of oil. The chole itself was undercooked and lacked any flavor, and to top it off, there was no achar served, which is typically a must-have accompaniment.
Next, the Stuffed Paratha was a complete disaster. Instead of the flaky, well-cooked paratha I was expecting, I was served something that resembled a tough naan. It was so chewy that we ended up leaving three-quarters of it on the plate, utterly unappetizing.
As for the drinks, the Masala Coke and Blue Lagoon tasted like lukewarm sugar water. They were neither fizzy nor cold, making them completely unrefreshing and a waste of money.
Finally, the Faluda Kulfi was a letdown, with a taste that was simply terrible. It felt like a chore to finish it. I urge anyone considering this restaurant to look beyond the glowing Google reviews. The recent experiences reflect a kitchen that seems to have no regard for quality or taste. It’s overpriced for the lackluster food and service. Save your money and avoid this place...
Read moreIt is a fantastic spot for a vegetarian lunch or dinner, and our dinner visit didn’t disappoint. Located on the main road, the restaurant lacks parking space, which is a notable drawback, especially for those driving. However, the seating area is decent, comfortably accommodating groups, though the ambience is just okay—nothing fancy or over-the-top, but functional for a casual meal.
The food was the highlight, delivering on taste and quality. We tried the pav bhaji and dahi papdi chaat as starters, and both were great, bursting with authentic flavors. For mains, we ordered the paneer khurchan, which was delicious—rich and well-prepared. We also sampled their rabdi for dessert, which struck a perfect balance, not too sweet and absolutely delightful. The pure vegetarian menu offers solid variety, making it a great pick for veggie lovers.
Service was commendable—prompt and friendly, ensuring a smooth dining experience. Pricing is reasonable, offering good value for the quality and portion sizes. The only real downside is the lack of parking, but the tasty food and good service make it worth the visit. I’d definitely return for...
