Visited with family for the first time. Place is crowded. We had to wait. Food was good. Quantity was also good. Food was without color and preservatives to my understanding. Every one liked it.
Few thing for made me give less rating: Service was poor. They did not serve water gave us just empty glasses. Luckly we had carried water. We thought they do not give water as we looked around seeing other tables. When our water got over, when meal was almost finished, we enquired, then they gave water. Very basic stuff in service! They put just too much ghee in roti/lachha, it was dripping. May be its ok with many customer. We did not find it appealing. We had to drain the ghee out of laccha and wipe with napkin Out of 3 thali they served only two.. we had to wait for third one to arrive as we could not leaving my mother without food. I felt this was bad service manner, one should not serve half order. Again basic stuff in service Hygine issue A) there was small flies (not makhi) on the table B) table surface was bit sticky C) menu was very sticky.. it was giving awful feeling while touching it. It was very old and felt like not touching it D) To protect the food from fli we had to cover the food using the plate given. When the below portion of the plate was visible, we noted it was not cleaned, durts were acumulated on the round edges. Not sure how hygenic the kitchen was which is generally not visible...
Read moreTasteless food and pathetic service, food quality has deteriorated drastically from the last visit. Chur chur parathas are scams here, its normal paratha partly crushed with hands. They dont have tandoor to make crispy chur chur parathas. We ordered sweet lime soda and when we received it there was no fizz, when questioned, the waiter defended it saying the fizz was there when it was made ( as if to say that the fizz goes out of soda in 60 seconds from kitchen to table ).In thali , curry was tasteless, dal was cold as if made few hours ago and then served directly. laccha rotis were thick rotis nothing else. Sakora curd is not even a set curd but normal dairy curd of inferior quality served in sakora. Ordered fried masala papad, got roasted but we did not complain. And their staff is unapologetic in the first place but they even go to the extent of blaming customers for cold food. Manager is clueless and the guy on the billing counter couldn't care less when you complain about the quality. His only job is to ignore the customer complain and keep collecting cash. Worst dinning experience. Visit only if you want to eat overpriced tasteless food and don't want to get value out of your hard earned money. If I had an option of rating them negative, I would be...
Read moreWe visit this place regularly for last 3 years and this place amaze me for the delicious punjabi cuisine. So no wonder when we visited on a busy Saturday evening the place was crowded however we could get the table quickly in 5 min. I realised that this is due to the super fast service of the team there under the supervision of the owner uncle who always welcome with a warm smile. We ordered patiala lassi and new Gur Lassi ( made from Jaggery) , Rajma combo and the winter special punjabi dishes Makki ki Roti & Sarson Ki Saag. We got them served at the earliest time of less than 10 min ( despite the crowd I wonder how they were able to do this quick service ) The Gur Lassi was different with the original taste of Jaggery which they get from Punjab and the Patiala Lassi was awesome as usual. How can we have the punjabi cuisine without a Lassi ? The Makki Ki Roti was marvelous and taste the best made for each other along with Sarson ki Saag which had 100gms of Butter đ. We enjoyed so much that we ordered extra Makki ki Rotis.. In short I wish that every Foodie should and must visit this place to experience their authentic taste of Best Punjabi cuisines. My trip to Bengaluru will never be completed without 1-2 trips to Kapoorâs cafe. They have ample Car...
