That one star given by me here should be considered as a Zero / Negative Value Star Patiently read this review if you are planning to visit Kava: I found a big chunk of plastic in my chicken biryani and when the chef was called all that I could here is "Sir Sorry, Aaj events k wajah se gadbad zyada hai". Pathetic!! I can understand that at Mariott the probability of such an incident happening is 1% but giving such a lame excuse is completely wrong. To compensate their mistake, they did bring me and my friend a plate with a muffin, brownie and ice cream of which only the ice cream tasted like ice cream (coz I guess at least Vanilla is something that Kava cant go wrong at) and the chocolate ice cream that was bought for my friend tasted nothing like an ice cream. My experience that today (28th Nov 2021) was absolutely disappointing, when compared the experience that I had two years ago at Kava. 3.The place was not at all clean, I could see food stain and unclean tables and cutlery when I got to my table. 4.The staff set up our table like after 10-15 mins after we took our seats. The reason that I got from the floor manager was that they had three events running at their venue and they were a little stretched. 5.Next thing that I could clearly notice was, the chef from the kitchen was being called now and again to different tables to address the complains by the customers like me. The non-vegetarian spread was good (not great) and the spread seemed very limited. The fish that I ate was a shallow water fish. I could clearly taste the flavour of the soil and sand🤧. Veg too was fine (not good). After I complained about the service, only then did people start paying attention to our table. They were even short of glasses I could see, they served me and my friend cold drinks in use and throw glasses 😂. I for once felt that I was at someone's place for a house party! My vegetarian friend who could only like the pizza that they served when for a second round and that is when the chef making it uttered "Accha you want another one?!" and to me it did not sound right. You dont say such things to your customer, we are paying for the buffet and we can ask for what we like n number of times. Another customer too had a complain with some dish of his and was talking to the chef. I could see the customer make the chef smell the food which according to the customer was either stale or spoilt. All in all, I was totally disappointed with the entire team of Kava and their service. "A complete disastor" as someone from the customers pointed out. I'm sure that I would never want to visit Rajajinagar Kava for any of my meals or...
Read moreKava, a buffet restaurant is best known for its luxurious food, hospitality and service and our experience at Fairfield By Marriott Bengaluru, Rajajinagar was exactly that. Cozy and Chic Ambience. It's one of my favorite dining places to visit.
I had been here with my girls for the Sunday Brunch, loved the pleasant vibes while entering. Once we were seated, we were greeted by F&B Manager Mr. Kartick Moral who warmly welcomed and helped us to make the day as a special one. Service by Mr. Chakri was remarkable.
Food at Kava was without a doubt the best array of delicious food I've ever enjoyed in my whole life ! Buffet layout was amazing and everything was well managed and just perfectttt.
The Service is superb, The staff is very nice and welcoming. It's not the stars which matter, rather it's the culture you live in, that matters. Everybody was nice, concerned and provided great service. Be it meals or variety or taste or quality.... everything was in perfect blend.
They have a multiple specialized counters ranging from Indian, Asian, Continental, Salad bar, Desserts and a live pasta, pizza and chaat counters. Very extensive & elaborate spread. The food is not only visually appealing but also tickles your taste buds. The dessert spread was also never ever ending. Also offers alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages from its bar.
We tried mocktails, paneer tikka, cheese balls, pani puri, tikki puri, pizza, pasta, pastries, rice, rasam, curries, breads, salads, fruits, curd rice, lots of desserts, halwas etc. etc. etc
With its upbeat ambience and mostly efficient service, this restaurant is a nice choice if you’re looking for a good buffet.
Overall, the experience was a joyride for the taste buds, you would think you have had quite a variety of flavours and there couldn’t possibly be more but then you’d be proved wrong the second you taste the next dish. We would definitely want to come again for this rollercoaster of flavours.
*The Sunday BRUNCH was worth every penny. (It costs Rs. 999 + taxes per person) *Impeccable food. *Amicable staff. *Live Music. *Must visit place for all the foodies to devour the divine...
Read moreKava is one of the fine dine authentic indian cuisine restaurants present in Fairfield by Mariott rajajinagar. The ambience is very decent with a huge seating capacity and a large variety of dishes to offer in the buffet. To start the buffet we were served the papdi chaat which is one of the best i have had in bangalore. Then came the dahi puri which was also very good and not to forget the paani puri. All the varieties of chaats are just amazing. We were also given a basket of crispy papads to savour. Then came in the non veg starter platter which contained of variety of tikkas and fish, the fish was not of a very great quality but tasted good. The tikkas were marinated very well and cooked to perfection. But one variety of them contained bones which I didn't expect to be and was a little disappointing. For drink, I had the watermelon mint mojito which was just absolutely amazing. Then we were served pav with chicken kheema which contained butter toasted pav which was mind boggling. We were also served makke di roti and sarso ka saag which was the highlight of the evening as it was out of the world good. For main course, I had zafrani murgh pulao and kukkad da makkhan wala. The pulao was spicy just the way I like it and the curry was just the perfect combination I needed for the pulao. Then I also had the steam rice with rasam and it just reminded me of how it was made at home. Absolutely brilliant. To go to desserts, I had the garam garam jalebis, moong dal halwa, gajar ka halwa and a variety of pastries. All of them were very good. Except for the fact that the gajar ka halwa was a bit dry. Do visit this place for a very hospitable staff and experience along with...
