The Paneer Tikka Masala is a rich, creamy dish with well-marinated, soft paneer cubes. The spices are well-balanced, with a smoky flavor from the tikka. The sauce is flavorful, not too overwhelming, and pairs perfectly with bread. Rating: 8/10. Great flavor, though some might find it a bit heavier for a main dish.
The Garlic Naan is soft, fluffy, and infused with the perfect amount of garlic. It complements a variety of curries and sabzis well, offering a satisfying texture and flavor. Rating: 10/10. Light, airy, and tasty, ideal for dipping into curries.
The Stuffed Kulcha is soft, with a warm, buttery exterior. The stuffing is often made with ingredients like potato, paneer, or spices, giving it a flavorful bite. It’s filling and works well with both curry and lentils. Rating: 9.5/10. A hearty, flavorful bread that’s perfect for those who love stuffed varieties.
The Dal Kichidi is a comfort food staple. It’s lightly spiced, and the rice-lentil mixture is well-cooked, offering a balanced taste with an almost homey feeling. It's a great option for a lighter yet satisfying meal. Rating: 8/10. Good, but could use a bit more punch in terms of spices for some...
Read moreThis place seems to be run by a new Management, they seem understaffed in waiters. The waiters didn't seem like they knew how to do their job yet, seems like initial teething issues which should hopefully be solved going ahead.
The ambiance of the place is very nice akin to that of a fine dining place with the cutlery to match.
The highlight of this place has to be the food. The starters were very good with the right level of sauces added to enrich the flavour. The soup seemed a bit bland, but a bit of salt can save the day. The Naan/Roti were well made, soft and volumnous. The sabzi was on point, with the Panner Butter Masala being very creamy and delicious. The biriyani was okay, but it seemed that the spices were not imbibed into the rice well which led to the flavour being underwhelming.
Prices are slightly on the higher side as compared to a regular Darshini with service rates(about 20% more) but you could normalize that with some payment offers on these diner apps.
I really hope they get their waiters and service staff sorted and trained soon, as this place has very good potential to be a...
