This is my second time dining at Kerala Pavilion, and once again, it did not disappoint. This time, I opted for the seafood meals priced at Rs 530, including tax. The spread was extensive, featuring small portions of crab fry, prawns roast, squid roast, meen peera, king fish fry, kera fish curry, mathi curry, chutney, avial, poriyal, and more. While the kera fish curry and crab fry were just okay, every other dish was bursting with flavor, making the meal truly memorable. The portion size was more than enough for one person, ensuring great value for the price. The ambiance is inviting, and the availability of dining upstairs adds to the experience. Kerala Pavilion is undoubtedly worth visiting, especially for families who enjoy authentic Kerala cuisine. A must-visit for seafood lovers! Old Review I recently dined at the 'Kerala Pavilion' Restaurant in Indiranagar, Bangalore, and it was a delightful experience. I opted for the Kerala meals and the Beef fry, both of which were exceptional. The Beef fry stood out with its tender texture and flavorful spiciness, which costs 249. The overall quality and quantity of the dishes were impressive. The meal was accompanied by an array of sides including Raw Banana curry, yard long beans thoran, and various traditional accompaniments like pickle and pappadam, all served alongside fragrant Red rice. The variety of gravies served was a true representation of Kerala cuisine - from the rich fish curry gravy to the aromatic Kerala sambar and soothing Rasam, and not to forget the refreshing butter milk. The range of flavors was a treat for the taste buds. For this meals costs 100 bucks. Although the dining space was relatively small, the minimalistic Kerala ambiance added to the authenticity of the experience. The restaurant's focus on creating a traditional Kerala setting was evident in its interior design. Overall, dining at 'Kerala Pavilion' was a memorable experience, and I highly recommend it for families looking to savor authentic Kerala cuisine. The combination of well-prepared dishes, genuine Kerala ambiance, and attentive service make it a must-visit for anyone seeking a taste of Kerala in the heart of Bangalore.

I recently visited Kerala Pavilion Hotel and had the opportunity to try their cuisine. Overall, my experience was positive, and I appreciated several aspects of the visit, though there were some areas for improvement. To start, the food quality and taste were impressive. Kerala Pavilion clearly puts effort into delivering authentic flavors that capture the essence of Kerala's culinary tradition. The dishes were well-prepared and flavorful, with a balance of spices that wasn’t too overpowering, yet still rich in taste. For those looking to enjoy a meal with traditional flavors, this restaurant is an excellent choice. The ambience at Kerala Pavilion Hotel also enhanced the experience. The decor is thoughtfully arranged, combining modern aesthetics with touches of Kerala’s cultural charm. This created a welcoming, cozy atmosphere where one can relax and savor the food without feeling rushed. The seating was comfortable, and the lighting added warmth to the environment. This attention to ambience made dining here pleasant and comfortable. However, one area that fell short was the portion size.(Am ordered kozhikodan salkara combo n veg meals, salad) While the taste was commendable, the quantity served was surprisingly small, especially considering the price point. For an average adult, the portions may not be enough, leaving one feeling unsatisfied if they have a hearty appetite. Additionally, given the pricing, I expected more generous servings. The portion size seemed disproportionate to the cost, which may deter diners seeking value for money. Kerala Pavilion Hotel offers delicious food and a pleasant ambience, making it a good spot to experience Kerala’s flavors. However, the limited portion size, especially in relation to the pricing, does take away from the overall value. For an ideal experience, I would recommend they consider adjusting their serving sizes to better match both customer expectations and the prices they charge.

My recent culinary escapade led me to a Kerala restaurant that promised an exquisite dining experience with its inviting atmosphere and appealing ambiance. Enthralled by the anticipation of savoring authentic flavors, I embarked on a gastronomic journey that was filled with highs and lows. As I delved into the offerings, the parotta emerged as a shining star, boasting a delectable texture and taste that truly impressed my palate. However, my enthusiasm was met with disappointment as the remaining dishes started to arrive. Alas, the enchanting atmosphere couldn't conceal the fact that the food had lost its battle with temperature. The beef roast and dry fry, while supposedly distinct, shared the same lukewarm fate, rendering them devoid of the promised rich flavors that Kerala cuisine is renowned for. Even the much-anticipated chicken biriyani, a dish that carries the soul of Kerala's culinary heritage, couldn't escape the tepid fate that seemed to have befallen the rest of the fare. Though its flavors were passable, the lack of warmth left me yearning for the comforting embrace of a piping-hot biriyani. The total bill of approximately 1300 rupees for a party of four might have appeared reasonable, but the overall experience left much to be desired. While the restaurant showcased a promising ambiance, its culinary execution fell short of the mark. The potential for greatness was unmistakably present, yet the lack of attention to detail in terms of taste and temperature underscored the need for significant improvements. In the end, the Kerala restaurant's performance left me with a sense of unfulfilled expectations. As a discerning diner, I am hopeful that the establishment will take heed of this critique and endeavor to elevate its cuisine to the heights that its inviting ambience promises. Until then, my quest for an authentic and gratifying Kerala dining experience continues.
