Horrible experience..very bad people and the management. I went with my wife and 2 kids to meenakshi Mall Rajdhani for lunch and ordered 2 Thalis for myself and my wife as my kids aged 10 and 5 were not hungry for lunch and didn't want to waste food. As they started to serve food, manager Mr Raja and his assistant came and said my kids cannot take anything from my Thali as it is not allowed and need to order another Thali, and was persistent on it. I said I don't really want to order as they would end up wasting food and promised they would not take anything from my plate nor my wife's. I was taken back and insulted with the cheap kind of attitude from the staff. This was really humiliating I did not feel to be at the right place to dine any longer. We Indians being family oriented always take our kids along and normally kids do try sweets if it is kept, but here we did not feel to have anything we just made them watch and wasted even our food, we paid which was not worth even a rupee and left. Hope these kind of restaurants learn customer service which is imbedded in there management as well as there staff. The staff here are really not customer oriented they lack common sense as they think we are there to gobble food at cheap prices, we Indians now have grown from being poor to stand up to the world, but these kind of restaurants still leave in...

Rajasthani hospitality is one of those things everyone is well aware of. Well, I recently experienced a full dose of Rajasthani hospitality and culture during my visit to Rajdhani Thali and to top it off the food was like a cherry on top…

They offer a mixture of Rajasthani and Gujrati cuisine in the form of an all you can eat buffet. The menu will consist of around 32 item filled with delish.

You will find the ambience rather appealing as you are welcomed with Rajasthani tradition and you find yourself washing hands in classic style.

You can choose to have the whole thali at once or you may opt to get the items served individually as per your convenience…

What surprised me was the fact that the menu will be changing everyday which adds a pinch of curiosity into the mix..

To conclude, I would say that this is a must try thali for veg lovers who are looking for something new and unique..

Be aware if going to Rajdhani in Meenakshi mall. They are running a promotion that offers thali on every tuesday @ Rs. 349 + taxes (regular price is Rs. 649 + taxes). Having had the not so delicious thali (just an average one, A2B or Nagarjuna thalis are way better than this) we were presented with the bill that appeared to be savory instead of a mouth watering dessert. The bill was with regular price of Rs. 649 + taxes. When asked they politely stated the offer is not applicable on public holiday, not sure what public holiday it was on 14th November though! Typical rajdhani style of cheating customers. While Diwali lights were trying to bring radiance of happiness among people, rajdhani was trying to spread agony among it's customers.
