Read moreLe Kene was recommended by one of the fellow bloggers and we decided to check it out and were very pleasantly surprised not just by the wonderful architecturally beautiful building in which this charming little french patisserie was housed, but also by some of the decadence that this place offers. A petite two storeyed space that is very minimal yet architecturally intelligent, does not have a menu as the decadent offerings change daily and in a kind of sustainable way, everything is on offer until stocks last. So I rushed and placed an order for
Jalapeno Cheese Bun Tomato Pizza Bun Dark Chocolate Rocher Pocket Lemon Mini Eclair Chocolate Eclair Chocolate Cupcake Vanilla Mango Tart
And by the time we could repeat some of them, they went out of stock. To enjoy all of this we did pick up a couple of cold and hot coffees to go with and thoroughly enjoyed them too.
Both the buns were like a savoury muffin and the Jalapeno Cheese Bun was utterly soft with hints of sharp jalapeno hitting you in a bit here and there, and the Tomato Pizza Bun was equally good too. The dark chocolate rocher pocket was extremely delicious and yummy while I tasted the custard in the Lemon mini eclair and decided it was not for me, while the rest of the group enjoyed it. I for one loved the Chocolate eclair that I picked to carry home too. The cupcake was as good as homemade and reminded me of the version that wifey makes. The vanilla and mango tart again was a wonderfilled version that we all absolutely loved.
The cold cappuccino was strong, mildly bitter, just how I would like it and definitely recommended. I was so impressed with the delicious offerings I took home an Apple Cinnamon Custard Bun, along with a Chocolate Cupcake, and a Chocolate Eclair with a Jalapeno Cheese Bun.
A fantastic new place that must be in your watchlist to visit hopefully soon, if you...
Read moreHi everyone, This is to spread awareness for all of you who all are planning to visit. Me and my husband didn’t really believe in Zomato rating/ google rating but then yes sometime you gotta research a little bit before spending money. We were roaming around HSR and wanted to try out something on our own. If you plan to visit this place I would recommend to go through the below details. Food: food was quite good but I don’t feel that is value for money. 7/10
Cafe Ambiance: not at all value for money. 1/10. This seems wonderful when you see aesthetic photos on insta/ zomato/ other social media by influencer but when you entered we got absolutely shocked and other people also got shocked when we looked around. The place is absolutely small , this should be okay probably if 2/3 people sit and have coffee.
Additional note: Strange and funny part are they don’t allow to visit upstairs until you order/ buy something . Secondly I feel there’s a jammer which resulted not to go live and telecast the real picture. I would not recommend anyone to visit for ambiance but you can buy a coffee and have it while walking on road. Other than this staff behaviour was nice. Their presentation is okay.
Another Highlight : I have gone through many comment which had bad review and adding this to ensure that the owner of the cafe might be writing something rude in- return of your bad review. So you should not feel low about this. This is a open platform, you should post what you feel and let others...
