Me and my friends always tried to find a good hotel to try out whenever we go outside in Bengaluru. Most of the time it fails even though they had better google ratings. This time it actually worked properly. Before yesterday we never heard of this hotel. When trying to find good one in HSR Layout, skipped lot of good hotels due to traffic on road and one way roads. But finally decided to go to MUTHAHALLI restaurant.
As soon as we enter I felt this is a good vibe restaurant. Once we sat down, we were really surprised the way service people treated us. They actually wanted us to try buffet instead of ala carte which usually is beneficial to the restaurant business. We chose the special weekend buffet which is only available on Saturday and Sunday.
The most of the foods truly matched our native place foods in villages. Balekayi kabab was really good, payasa as well. Vangi bath, sambar, etc as well. Didn't find any issues which I usually find in all restaurants even if they are ab or Barbeque nation or halli mane, etc . The most absolutely positive aspect of this restaurant was the service people. They genuinely want to feed us and want us to eat wholy and insisted on adding more portion and wanted us try all foods even though we wanted to stop. The core of any business is the people first and quality is second and I liked both. They instantly got dozens of future family visits from this single visit as we will probably take this as our permanent one. I hope you thrive more if not peaked. Hope to taste more varieties of karnataka foods in our future visits. Please do send social promotions for festival foods so that we can...
Read moreSree Muthahalli is a delightful vegetarian restaurant that offers a diverse and flavorful menu. During my visit, I sampled a variety of dishes, and each was a treat.
The Paneer Donne Biryani stood out for its aromatic spices and perfectly cooked paneer, delivering a comforting yet vibrant flavor. The Nippat Bhel Puri was a refreshing start, combining crunchy textures and tangy chutneys that tantalized the taste buds.
The Dahi Puri was another highlight, with its crispy puris and creamy yogurt topped with sweet and spicy chutneys, making it an exquisite appetizer. The North Indian Meals were hearty, featuring perfectly cooked rice, daal, and sabzi that felt like a warm hug.
The Fried Rice was a satisfying dish, full of vegetables and bold flavors, while the Chole Bhature was indulgent, with soft bhature complementing the rich chole beautifully. The Idly was fluffy, served with coconut chutney and sambar, making it an authentic South Indian experience.
Lastly, the Noodles had a delightful stir-fry taste, perfect for those who prefer a lighter meal.
Overall, Sree Muthahalli is a great spot for anyone craving varied vegetarian dishes in a cozy atmosphere. The service was friendly, and the flavors truly made it a memorable dining experience! Highly recommended for vegetarian...
Read moreThis place was such a pleasant surprise. If you’re someone who values authentic taste over fancy decor, then Shree Muthahalli Veg Restaurant is going to impress you. The food was genuinely delicious—simple, flavorful, and cooked with the kind of love and consistency that even many five-star restaurants fail to deliver. It’s been a while since I’ve had a meal that felt this satisfying.
The prices are unbelievably reasonable, especially for the quality of food you get. It’s definitely what you’d call “cheap and best.” Everything we ordered was fresh, well-spiced, and comforting—no unnecessary frills, just good food done right.
It is a self-service place, so you won’t get pampered or waited on. But honestly, it didn’t matter. The food speaks for itself, and if you don’t mind standing in line or grabbing your own tray, the experience is totally worth it.
It’s the kind of place that reminds you how good food doesn’t have to be expensive or overly styled—it just has to be good. Pure veg lovers and anyone who appreciates no-nonsense, satisfying meals—this spot is for you.
Rating: 5/5 – Humble setting, big on flavor. Affordable, filling, and better than many so-called fine dining experiences. I’d go back in...
