I'm only human, after all: my quest for finding the best Biryani in this big, intriguing universe keeps on going. And one fine day back in 2019, it landed me at this beautiful place. And oh boy. Lemme tell you. This place is in my top 5 places which serves super hot and fire biryani amongst them all (provided that you don't order from here, have not heard a lot of positives, but I guess opinions are quite subjective, and people have different tastes after all).
Mani's might be the best "Bangalore style" biryani I've come across. I think they take a lot from the Kerala style stuff, but I don't really see it... I've been to Kerala and have had biryani there, but nothing was as flavorful as the Biryani they serve here. It was the right amount of spicy and full of lip-smacking goodness, which will make you wonder "Is Biryani life?" and your answer would be "Yes it is". Ambience of the place is alright, if you have good company with yourself, I doubt you'll really pay any heed to the lackluster ambience of this place. Their rice is perfectly paired with the salan and the raita, which go hand-in-hand with the spices from the Biryani itself.
Apart from the Biryani, I really liked the Chicken 65 which they serve here: authentic, simple yet tasty. Had some gulaab-jaamuns the other day, which were meh, but those are not going to take away from the fact that these guys know how to cook a mean biryani.
If your spice tolerance is built like a tank, please go visit. You won't be disappointed. Chicken kabab biryani was flavorful rice topped up with marinated and perfectly cooked chicken chunks, the normal bone-in Chicken Biryani is what I loved the most. A solid...

To start the proceedings, we have started with Achari chicken, Chicken kebab. Both the starters is almost similiar as both of them are deep fried item. Achari chicken - it had good quantity of small boneless of chicken. Taste was good! Chicken Kebab - It had 8 medium size chicken pieces. Fish kebab- it had around 10 pieces of fish. Its was crispy without any bones. One con was it was smelling a bit. It wasnt rotten but smell while eating is annoyed us! Also they dont have sauce, mayonnase or mint chutney etc becuase without it was hard for us to feed the kids!
We have asked mutton biryani its wasnt there, so we are frustated as chicken options only were there! So we have decided to order one chicken boneless biryani large and chicken kebab biryani large. Both the biryani was good in quantity, Two large biryani's was sufficient for six adults and three kids!
In soft drinks also only we lime juice and lime soda only available. So we had those items to finish the lunch.
Overall we had very average experience. Since the items were very limited! Its not a place to seek different options. People who want strictly only chicken starters and chicken biryani can visit with family and friends else...
Read moreCame here with heightened expectations due to the hyped up recommendation I got of this place.
This place is your neighborhood family dining restaurant and doesn't pretend to have the airs of anything else. The interiors are decent, with ample lighting and seating and feels comfortable.
Service is prompt, which I loved. Was with my parents and we shared the Chicken Kabab Biryani combo that consists of the aforementioned with Chicken 65 and a 600 ml bottle of a soft drink of your choice.
I'm not a fan of non Hyderabadi dum Biryani, but felt I should have a go. The Biryani was well worth the money. Quantity was a plenty. It had a subtle taste and the heat is only detected by your tongue and food pipe later. The Biryani lacked aroma, and hinted at the preparation being more of a putting together of the ingredients than meticulous construction.
The Chicken Kabab acts as a topping for the rice and is not exactly your everyday kabab. It's like little pieces of chicken marinaded in a low on spice gravy.
Chicken 65 was fine but could have had more batter covering.
There was no compromise on the chicken quality and therefore taste in either dish and it made up for the shortcomings in the Biryani rice.
Simple underlying concept : Value...
