My mother and her family friends of four had visited this amazing restaurant at Bangalore, she was thoroughly impressed and spread word to others about her unforgettable experience which is as follows. At first, there were no expectations, but everyone thought it was only a vegetarian branch. Little did they realize that they also serve an extensive menu for non-veg lovers. People somehow fail to recommend this gem of a place, recalls my mother as she was told by her family friend of this great place to eat. She says she would gladly recommend this place 200% to anyone and nobody would shout or be disappointed, even a wee bit with the excellence of food served here. My mother ‘s first experience with this branch was filled with pleasant memories. Talking about the ambience, which was pleasant and neat, just about the right size for a large group as such. When the menu was handed by the server, they just ordered random main courses and did not opt for starters since it was lunch time. Chicken Biriyani – The pale pista green colored biriyani was utmost flavorful as it was cooked with hand pounded spices, extremely aromatic, tasty and served in banana leaves for taste enhancement. The quantity was for two people and was very large to satisfy one person, that was incredibly enough with accompaniments such as raita. Two chicken pieces were present for the rice portion. This biriyani was special as it was uniquely crafted apart from the other usual monotonous biriyani. Vanjaram Fish Fry – Huge Single piece per plate. The quality was very soft and delicious. Andhra Green Chili Chicken – Quantity was large as the order was two portion plates for 4 people. Quality accounted for its spicy tenderness, this chicken was cooked perfectly and exceptionally soft. The chicken was fresh without any use of cashew nut paste. All the above-mentioned food was prepared with a homemade touch, had the right amount of salt, careful selection of hand-picked palatable spices and did not require any sort of digestion aid and there was no bloating or gas or any other uncomfortable feeling, there was no need to order lemon-salt-soda. Beeda was also not needed as all the taste buds were fully satisfied. Room temperature mineral water was also served. Regards were sent to the chef through the general...
Read moreA Satisfying Andhra Meal, But Some Dishes Missed the Mark Recently, I had the chance to try [Nandhana Palace] and overall, it was a pleasant experience. I opted for the Andhra Meals, which left me feeling quite satisfied. The spread was generous, featuring classic staples like flavorful pappu (lentil stew), crispy papad, simple and comforting white rice, a tangy rasam, a unique drumstick curry, a tasty dry vegetable curry, a sweet dish, and cooling curd. Each component was well-prepared and contributed to a truly enjoyable traditional Andhra meal. I also sampled the Paneer Sholay Kabab, and while it wasn't bad, it tasted surprisingly similar to a standard Paneer 65. The flavor was decent, but what was disappointing was the very meager portion of paneer. For a dish highlighting paneer, the quantity was definitely lacking. Finally, I tried the Natti Veg Biryani, which I found to be quite good. It included a mix of vegetables like mushrooms, carrots, beans, and kidney beans, all well-integrated with the fragrant rice. The biryani had a nice flavor profile. However, the quantity felt somewhat small for the ₹320 price tag. In terms of ambiance, the seating was comfortable, and the service was quite satisfactory – attentive and prompt. Despite a couple of dishes not quite hitting the mark in terms of quantity or uniqueness, my overall experience at was good, primarily thanks to the satisfying Andhra Meals. I would consider visiting again, perhaps focusing on their traditional...

During my recent visit to Nandhana Palace, I experienced a delightful mix of ambiance and food that truly captured the essence of Andhra cuisine.
Ambiance: The restaurant's ambiance is inviting and comfortable, providing a great setting for enjoying a meal with family and friends.
Food: The food was excellent. We ordered three types of biryani, two veg meals, and chicken tandoori. Each dish was flavorful and well-prepared, showcasing the rich spices and tastes typical of Andhra cuisine. I was particularly impressed by the biryanis, which were perfectly cooked and aromatic. The veg meals were wholesome and satisfying, while the chicken tandoori was juicy and delicious. For the food quality, I would rate it 4.5 stars.
Service: Unfortunately, the service left something to be desired. While placing our order, an elderly staff member hurried us, insisting we make decisions quickly. This rushed approach detracted from the otherwise pleasant dining experience. Due to this, I would rate the service 2 stars.
Overall: Despite the service hiccup, my overall experience at Nandhana Palace was good. The excellent food and pleasant ambiance more than compensated for the service issues. I would recommend this restaurant for anyone looking to enjoy authentic Andhra cuisine...
