No doubt it is a good restaurant patronized by many high profile people. They serve good food. I also like their social responsibility of urging people to vote & offering incentive of free food etc for those who vote. That is excellent of the management. But the horrid incident I would like to share is that, today (26th March 2024) I visited the restaurant at 16.30 hours in my car. Parked my car inside the restaurant parking lost. I was alone. Spent nearly Rs.175 for my snacks. Paid the bill & leaving the car in their (Restaurant) premises (as I wanted to return to the same Nisarga Restaurant to buy some more food for my home) walked down to SP road for some brief shopping. Returned back to the restaurant by may at 18.30 hours bought some sweets & turmeric powder paid Rs.365 in total. And went back to my car. To my astonishment the watchman over there had locked my car for leaving it there & going out. Afterall I'm a customer. I did not go their for just drinking Rs.30 coffee & make use of their parking lot. I have spent Rs.540 on food this evening for myself alone. But still I was charged Rs.800 as parking fee for 2.5 hours. Which was really inhuman & unjust. Such experience has never happened in my lifetime that too in a restaurant. Very sad to know such a popular NISARGA Restaurant located next to Police commissioner office is so rude & exorbitant even with their customers. I do agree that they have displayed the parking charges quiet visibly & prominently at the entrance of their restaurant. But is there no leniency even to a customer who has come to enjoy food & just to make use of their parking space. After all, I have been frequenting this joint since decades as it was my favorite joint but not anymore for the harshness I had to face from the management. Being born in Bangalore, my own people punished me so badly for trivial reason. They were not even ready to reduce the fee. BIG THANKS TO...

AMBIANCE: It appears to me like a fusion of Daba and a south Indian restaurant. This restaurant remains cool without any artificial ventilation even during summer afternoons. This restaurant is cleverly developed around the trees and other vegetation in its vicinity. It has both self service and service wing. They have segregated every food divisions well which results in quick service.
SERVICE: it's too quick. Everyday afternoon it gets crowded, but thanks to their systematic and quick service, you never feel like you have waited too long. Their crowd management is too good.
FOOD: They do have Chinese, North Indian & South Indian cuisine. But so far I'm big fan of their south Indian breakfast. I love to nominate them to the list of best masala Dosa restaurants in Bengaluru. Masal Dosas topped with butter are too cispy and tasty in here. It's too close to the quality of CTR. Everytime I visit, I end up having minimum 2 dosas. Apart from Masala Dosa, idli & Vada will be good. Even they are known for tastiest Malabar parotha, akki rotti, ragi rotti and the giant choala batura.
EVERYTHING ELSE: During day, it's a quick eat place and after evening it can be a great place for hangout. Pricing is decent and the hygiene has been maintained well in the restaurant. They do have dedicated two wheeler parking, but it might be difficult to find a space during afternoon.
FINAL VERDICT: Great food, cool ambiance & service in a flash... A must visit restaurant...
