Suzy Q looks like it has everything going for it at first glance—great venue, lovely ambience, and food that actually tastes good. The Indian dishes, like their “white butter” butter chicken with hot rotis or naans are comforting, and the tandoori platters are quite the highlight. Even a couple of the cocktails were enjoyable.
And yet, the whole experience comes crashing down the moment you deal with their service. The staff manage to pull off the rare combination of being both rude and unhelpful—quite the skill set. What’s more baffling is that they proudly list themselves on Zomato District and Swiggy Dineout to gain visibility, but when it comes time to actually honor the discounts, suddenly they develop collective amnesia. It’s almost impressive how consistently they refuse—like a magician’s trick, except instead of pulling out a rabbit, they pull out excuses. I’ve dealt with this multiple times and ended up wasting time when their card machine also didn’t work and finally they gave in and let me pay via the dining apps as a last resort. If the goal was not to offer the discounts, then they should remove themselves from these apps than misleading customers.
The only real saving grace is the occasional DJ event, which does manage to inject some life to the venue and makes the place worth visiting. Without that, though, Suzy Q serves some good food in a nice setting, feels completely forgettable, thanks to bad service and dishonesty. I really hope they up their game or else they might end up having the same fate as the last establishment that took the same space in the distant past (which I’ve visited several...
Read moreI have been going to 1522 from the time they had only one outlet and have seen them grow. Have been to Suzy Q many time have enjoyed it. But last night was different. I went with a few of my very close friend and most of them had come to Suzy Q for the first time. We had a good time for most part of the evening. Then came the worst part. After asking for the bill, my friends noticed a Service Charge of 10% (honestly I had not noticed it in my last few visits) and objected to it with the staff. We all found it to be very high. So told the guy who had come with the bill to get it checked and that we are not OK with the establishment forcing us to pay a service charge when the court says its up to the customer to pay or not to pay. Then came a guy who appeared to be one of the partners with about 8 - 10 of the staff and started abusing us asked to just settle the bill and get out (get out was not the word but you know what I mean) from his property and not to go there again. Gave an ultimatum to us to leave in 2 minutes or will throw us out. He just picked the remaining drinks on our table and threw it after we settled the bill as forced us out. The most embarrassing evening i have had in these many years of partying. Will never step in there and nor are any of my friend. I know this will not affect them but these guys need to know not to be soo arrogant and misbehave with anybody. This after i know most of the partners very well. Hope they don't do this to any body but ill not be surprised if they repeat it with...

I don't know where to begin, as I'm always amazed by the hospitality of SuzyQ
My experience with SuzyQ goes way long back in time, when it was erstwhile 1Q1 and even after the change, I've been addicted to their "Down to Earth" hospitality! (even after the change from 1Q1 to SuzyQ)
There are several clubs, pubs, bar & restaurants you'll find in Bangalore, but, there's no other place which could qualify to be compared with SuzyQ's standards! It's a class apart..
Go visit on any day during the week or weekends (weekends area totally jam packed, so a reservation is advised).
You'll be blown over and over again!
Try any cuisine, you'll love it and, don't forget to get your pictures clicked! The ambience speaks for itself..
Whether you'd want to party with friends or have lunch or dinner with family, this is one place you surely don't want to miss!
I'd like to name few people I've met who've been part of my wonderful experience:
Pintu, Atul & Vivek always ensure no guests go unattended!
At the bar: Sahoo Sathya Gyaan Akshith
At service: Badal
I'd also like to thank the bartenders and the management for maintaining such high standards and also ensuring safety of guests!
Thank you SuzyQ.. you'll always be my favourite and first choice to hangout!
I'm writing this review after several years of experience of their amazing hospitality!
Cheers to the best place in namma...
