Om Sai Skanda Dosa Camp — Restaurant in Bengaluru

I got to know about this place through metrosaga and the food in this hotel surprised me with its great taste and inexpensive.

This hotel is right after H&G in Sai baba temple road, Cambridge Layout. They don’t have car parking, but you can park it on the roadside itself if you find parking space. You don’t have designated place to sit and enjoy your food, unfortunately we need to stand towards hotel side.

Alright, we ordered plain dosa, thatte idli & shavige bath. Plain dosa was damn crispy and tasted really good. Thatte idli was fluffy, but warm and not hot. Shavige bath was amazing, it was less oily and tasted like homemade. All these dishes were served with 3 types of chutney (Coconut, Mint & Onion) and sambar. I must say that Onion chutney was absolutely unique in taste - it tasted tangy and I had never tasted onion chutney this way, but kudos to that taste. It was a perfect combination for thatte idli though.

They have wide varieties and you could see in the menu picture. Very neatly organised and must say well maintained food hygiene. Price was so affordable and no dish exceeds 30rs. Paisa vasul place for foodies. Must try...

Today i had vada and Pongal. Vada was got spoiled and bad smell. Unhealthy spoiled vada and Pongal.

Idlies are made by keeping plastic sheet layer in boiling water. It is very poisonous and dangerous to health. It suppose to be cloth layer to make idlies. You may all notice about plastic sheet to make idlies. It causes cancer. So do not eat these kind of idlies.

Due to stinging and spoiled vada i had vomitting and it was like food poisoning. Stomach is paining.

I brought their notice about this spoiled food. Their reply was " Every one had, no one complained. And you had 1/2 vada. So there is no problem. If genuine issues are there, they have to accept and correct it. But they are not for customer's health conscious but on business and greedy on money at the cost of customer's health. Om Sai Skanda Dosa Camp is a gem of a breakfast spot hidden way inside Indiranagar. There are no chairs or tables to sit. Hold the plate in your hand, stand on the pavement and have...
