It was my first destination for chineese cuisine, as a foodie in Bangalore with my buddies, more than a decade and a half back when i first came to Bangalore...

Never ever the food disappointed me in term of quantity and quality.

Went back yesterday there, thinking about the old days.... Thought i should give it a try and see how it is now... Seems like they shifted to a new location in the same area.

Service by the staff is extremely courteous. Ambience is also average, highlighted by a nicely setup aquarium. But since it is on the side of Road, disturbance due to traffic can be a problem.

But in the case of delicacies, i will rate this restaurant above average or even excellent. With my favourite being fried rice and crispy dragon noodles, i have tried a variety of topping , veg / chicken / prawn and even mixed.

Kim Lee, run by Walter, is soul food.The place itself is basic when it comes to seating. We have almost all times had the food delivered home over the years years. Walter is a joy to speak with and once in a while he comes home to deliver the food himself on his two-wheeler. Even a simple chilly-chicken, Hakka noodles, sweet-corn soup/wanton soup and fried rice from Kim Lee is more than good enough to get your fix of Chinese cuisine. I have been having food from kim Lee for over 25 years their signature dishes are hot&sour chicken soup Hunan chicken roast pork deep fried double chilly chicken & pork prawns in hot garlic sauce awesome 👌. Never had a bad stomach after having food from the restaurant agreeably good ingredients are used. Must ask Walter the owner to prepare special dishes like barbecue pork and roast duck as he’s is a passionate cook. Must discuss with him your taste for private parties....
