I visited here yesterday expecting a food festival, but ended up attending a live comedy show without tickets!
We ordered 7 dishes, thinking it would be a royal Punjabi feast. Turns out, Palak Paneer and Chicken Lollipop were the villains of the story both tasted like they had a long argument in the kitchen and refused to make peace on my plate! 😅
Thankfully, Phulka, Garlic Naan, Masala Papad, and Gobi Starter managed to save the evening like side characters trying their best when the heroes fail miserably.
Now, coming to the staff the servers looked more confused than Google Maps in airplane mode. I literally had to use Google Images to show what the dish should look like! 🤦♀️
And the manager? Ah, a legend! When I shared my feedback, he gave me that “404 – Empathy Not Found” face and simply walked away. 👋 🦗🦗🦗🦗Crickets in our ears🦗🦗🦗
Overall, Panjabi-e-Daba gave me drama, mystery, suspense, and comedy everything except good food. We found ourselves food by the ambience like they say " appearances can be deceiving".
Hope the management spices up their attitude before the curry next time! 🍛😂

Read moreCertainly food is not what the name of the restaurant sounds as. I being a North Indian can relate to this place being a south Indianised Punjabi restaurant.
We ordered roti, aloo mutter, paneer parantha but weren’t satisfied but filling. While eating the roti, not a typical punjabi style, asked the waitress if the cook is punjabi to which she mentioned he’s Bengali.
Ambiance: was simple but not great in customer service. Tables don’t get cleared after the previous guest leaves.
Taste: The food was ok for hungry people but wasn’t authentic.
Downside: Lacks hygiene and customer service. Food service is slow. Parking is for not more than 2 cars and 5-8 bikes.
Recommendation: If relevant changes are looked into, this place will be hard to...
Read morePunjab E Dhaba offers a small yet decent ambiance. Parking, especially for cars, is limited, while bike parking is available. Seating is compact, making reservations advisable for larger groups exceeding five. During our visit, the staff member taking orders had a persistent cough, which raised some concerns. However, the orders were swiftly processed with minimal wait time.
The North Indian dishes stood out, surpassing the regular biryani and burger offerings. Aaloo Paratha and butter naan were particularly delightful. While the non-veg gravy fell short of expectations, the vegetarian gravies like butter paneer were noteworthy. Overall, Punjab E Dhaba provides good service, maintains average pricing, and delivers a satisfying...
