I visited Royal Andhra Spice with my family (a group of five) for dinner on a public holiday. The ambience was pleasant, and although there was a short wait of around 10 minutes to get a table, the service throughout the evening was courteous and efficient.
For starters, we ordered Lung Fung Vegetable Soup, Sanglong Lollypop, and Paneer Tikka. The Paneer Tikka was the standout dish, while the other two were average. The Sanglong Lollypop was initially a bit too salty, but upon informing the staff, they promptly replaced it with a fresh preparation, which was appreciated.
In the main course, we had Paneer Kholapuri, Chicken Chettinad, Butter Garlic Naan, Methi Naan, Butter Naan, and Italian Pasta (Veg). The Chicken Chettinad was pepper-spicy, and the Paneer Kholapuri had a milder spice profile—both paired well with the naans. The pasta was flavorful and well-made. We also ordered French fries (plain salted) for a baby, which were crispy and well-prepared.
Free valet parking is available, which adds to the convenience. The restaurant also has a hall on the 2nd floor for events like birthdays or other celebrations, accommodating around 100–120 guests. Catering is handled by the restaurant, and they can connect you with decorators, photographers, and other service providers. We had hosted a small party here last year and had a good experience then as well.
Overall, Royal Andhra Spice offers good food, attentive service, and a comfortable dining environment, making it a solid choice for both casual dining and...
Read moreWe’ve visited this place multiple times, primarily because the food is genuinely good. However, our overall experience hasn’t been very consistent, and that’s disappointing.
Our first visit itself was unsettling—we found a cockroach, but the management acknowledged the issue and took steps to resolve it, so we decided to give the place another chance.
The next time, we ordered Kushka for takeaway but were given Veg Biryani instead. What made it worse was the poor packaging—there were no hotel labels or seals, which even made us suspect the delivery person. We had to go back to the restaurant to clarify, and while they did replace the item, the time and effort involved was frustrating and unnecessary.
Despite these experiences, we chose to visit again for lunch, hoping for a better experience. Unfortunately, this time the issue was with the staff’s behaviour. They refused to serve regular water and insisted on cold water, and the attitude they displayed was really unpleasant. It made us feel very uncomfortable.
Yes, every time we’ve raised issues, the floor management has been cooperative and has addressed them on the spot, which we truly appreciate. But after repeated incidents, we’re genuinely unsure about visiting again. Good food alone doesn’t make up for repeated lapses in service and...
Read moreI keep crossing this place like 100 times, finally an impromtu dinner landed in this amazingly place. I mean from outside only you can make out the interiors and ambiance is next level with all the lightings and chandeliers and it's so inviting to go in and at the same time you are worried what if it's so out of budget. But I'm wrong, the place is very reasonable for such ambiance and service. The name of the brand itself is Andhra Spice but when I open the menu, they have only 1 page of Andhra food and the rest of the pages was Mangalorean, North Indian and Chinese, I was kind of disappointed cause I love Andhra food. However, we ordered for Guntur chicken, tandoori chicken, Mutton Rogan Josh and rice. The guntur chicken is definitely delicious and spicy 🥵🔥 like how i like it and it just opened up your taste buds, the tandoori was served in this so intricate presentation which is kind of cool though u must say, the mutton was tender and gravy tasty. But I'm so glad when they served the rice, they gave up pappu, sambar, rasam and love love it. We asked for ghee and papad and the server is kind enough to gave us what we want. Really content with the food, the condiments like gongura chutney and gun powder is yum yum. For dessert we tried the fried ice cream. Would definitely go back...
