RR Fish Land — Restaurant in Bengaluru

Based on numerous online and offline reviews, I visited this establishment to experience their reputation for preparing seafood and Mangalore cuisine. It is a moderately sized eatery that can comfortably accommodate a medium-sized group for lunch or dinner. The restaurant serves its food on plantain leaves, which is a pleasant presentation, and the hygiene standards are commendable. For our meal, we ordered neer dosa, prawn ghee roast, chicken ghee roast, and salmon fry. The salmon fry was recommended by the staff, but unfortunately, it did not meet our expectations. The taste was mediocre, and the portion size was insufficient, despite its high price point. In my opinion, it would be advisable to skip the salmon fry, as it does not justify its taste, quantity, or cost. Overall it was a below average experience for us. We ordered fish meals, Anjal masala fry and chilli chicken. Honestly, the fish item and fish fry was okay as expected but the chilli chicken was horribly chewy and tasteless. I feel all the dishes were overpriced for the quantity they served. Also the space is way too congested and small especially not suitable to handle the weekend crowd. We had to wait for 15mins before getting a table. Even parking the two wheeler was very difficult. The only good thing about the place was the fast service.

We had visited the place after seeing good reviews about the place, however, our experience was not good and after comparing with other eateries serving coastal cuisine, I am sure I won't be visiting anytime soon. One word of caution, please ask for the rate of fish items before ordering as the prices vary...

One of the fine place to have seafood.. it’s a small place but maintained well hygiene, clean and food taste is amazing. I tried the fish stall over here and fish. Fry and fish fry. Everything was amazing. I would definitely go back to this place to enjoy the fish..neer dosa here is also served hot.. the crab and the selfish also taste amazing.
