Tucked away in the heart of Koramangala, this eatery stands out as a gem for those seeking an authentic taste of Tamil cuisine. Renowned for its impeccable preparation and adherence to traditional flavors, it undoubtedly earns the title of the best in the area.
The culinary journey at this establishment begins with an exploration of their breakfast menu, where the idly and dosa steal the spotlight. The idly, soft and spongy, and the dosa, perfectly crispy on the edges, exemplify the mastery in crafting these South Indian staples. Accompanied by an array of chutneys that burst with flavors and a sambar that strikes the right balance, the breakfast experience becomes a delightful symphony of taste.
Venturing beyond the usual suspects, their parottas and paniyarams emerge as hidden treasures on the menu. The parottas boast layers of flakiness, and the paniyarams, with their unique texture, are nothing short of a revelation. These items, often overlooked in typical eateries, here demand attention and are a testament to the diverse culinary offerings available.
However, the journey isn't without its nuances. While the idly, dosa, chutney, sambar, parottas, and paniyarams excel, the same cannot be said for their coffee and tea. Interestingly, these beverages, although not bad, fall into the realm of average, lacking the distinctive character that defines the rest of the menu. It's a minor hiccup in an otherwise outstanding culinary experience.
In conclusion, for those yearning for a genuine taste of Tamil-style food, this eatery in Koramangala stands as an unrivaled destination. The commitment to quality and authenticity is evident in every bite, making it a must-visit for connoisseurs of South Indian cuisine. While the coffee and tea might not reach the same heights as the rest of the menu, the overall gastronomic journey here is one that promises satisfaction and a longing to...

Read moreAnother breakfast joint on list, done this Sunday. We heard about popularity of this place from various groups, so, finally gave it a try. Ordered paddu and podi dosa. Just the size of paddus made our mouth fell open! ₹60 was absolutely justified, with light crispy from outside and soft from inside.
Podi dosa, well, to be fair, i don't think it's about the place, but rather our tastebuds are not much find of this type of dosa itself. It feels dry, compared to its podi idli counter part which just takes you to heaven.
Nevertheless, it was nice to have a different style sambhar. But of course, the best part about this place was the chutneys! We got served three types. One could totally get the freshly grated coconut chutney in its pure form. The red chutney was perfectly spicy.
Ordered keshari bath as well, although nothing much special. Finally, had coffee. We had to wait for sometime, but seeing the coffee making ritual was worth it. I liked the taste here, with coffee being on the stronger side.
Service was excellent and the employees are quite customer friendly, even in a typical rush hour time. Price is absolutely justified given the quantity.
Overall, the paddu and the chutney are...
