If you are on the hunt for a cafe that promises a perfect ambiance, look no further! Nestled in the heart of Koramangala, this cafe is one of the best spots to unwind with family and friends. The atmosphere is simply enchanting. It has a blend of cozy, modern decor with a touch of colonial charm. The lush greenery surrounding the cafe adds a refreshing vibe, making it the perfect place for a laid-back afternoon or a casual evening out.

Now, let’s talk about the menu. It's extensive and caters to a wide range of tastes, from hearty breakfasts to indulgent desserts and refreshing beverages. I decided to go with an English breakfast and a press coffee, both of which were decent. While they didn’t blow me away, they were definitely satisfying. The coffee, rich and aromatic, was a good pick-me-up, and the English Breakfast offered all the right elements for a classic morning meal. However, I wouldn’t say they stood out as exceptional, just solid, comforting choices.

While the setting is absolutely beautiful, the experience falls short in one crucial area: service. It's unfortunate, but the servers seem more preoccupied with chatting among themselves than attending to customers. From the moment I walked in, I noticed a distinct lack of attention, no smiles, and little enthusiasm. It almost felt like they were in their own little world, which really impacted the overall vibe. To add to the disappointment, the washrooms were not only dirty but also had an unpleasant odor, which is something any cafe of this status should definitely address.

As if that wasn’t enough, when the bill arrived, it came with a feedback form, but no pen or pencil to fill it out. I tried getting the attention of the staff, but they were too busy with their own conversations to notice. These small, overlooked details can really make or break an experience.

However, despite the service hiccups, if you’re someone who values ambiance and enjoys a good meal in a beautiful setting, this cafe still makes for a worthwhile visit. The lush green trees surrounding the space provide a refreshing atmosphere, while the colonial-style decor creates a charming backdrop. It’s also conveniently located in the heart of Koramangala, making it easily accessible for city dwellers, although parking can be a bit of a challenge with limited spaces available on the road side.

In conclusion, this cafe is a delightful spot to relax and soak in the surroundings. If you are hoping for top-notch service, though, you might want to manage your expectations. With a little more attention to detail and a friendlier staff, this place could easily become a favorite...

So I finally went to Dyu Art Café today after hearing so many people hype it up, and honestly… I walked out feeling pretty “meh.” One of my friends really recommended it, so my expectations were kinda high.

Let me start with the good stuff. The place itself is beautiful. The décor is artsy, rustic and full of greenery, which makes it super photogenic. If you’re into aesthetic cafés where you can just sit, chill and click a few pictures, you’ll probably enjoy being here. The ambiance is definitely the star of the show. Calm, cozy, and definitely has those “Sunday brunch with friends” vibes.

But coming to the food… that’s where it all fell flat for me. We ordered fish fingers, fish florentine, and a cheesy mushroom sandwich. Sounds good on paper, right? But the taste didn’t really match the description. The fish fingers were basic at best, the sandwich was alright but nothing memorable, and the fish florentine was just average. Not bad, but not something I’d crave again or come back for. Honestly, the dishes looked nicer than they tasted.

And then there’s the price: the bill came to about Rs. 1250, which I really didn’t feel was justified for the kind of food we got. I don’t mind paying a premium if the food really blows me away, but here it felt more like you’re paying for the vibe and the “Bangalore café experience” rather than the food itself.

I guess that’s my bigger issue too — a lot of cafés in Bangalore are very showy and super focused on being “Insta-worthy,” but when it comes to actual flavor and depth in the food, they just don’t deliver. Dyu Art Café, for me, was another one of those places.

So yeah, I’d give it 3 stars. I wouldn’t call it a total miss, because the ambiance is genuinely lovely and if you’re someone who just wants to hang out, have long conversations, maybe sip on coffee while sitting in a pretty space, then this café works. But if you’re going mainly for the food, don’t expect to be wowed.

In short: • Ambiance & décor: really great, no complaints. • Food: average, nothing special. • Value for money: doesn’t really feel justified.

Would I go again? Maybe only if someone else really wanted to, but personally I don’t think it’s a spot I’d be craving to return to...

Alright, let’s break it down, shall we? The fried chicken and lamb burger? Meh, they were pretty average, not gonna lie. Nothing to write home about. But then - wait for it - the baked yogurt? Chef’s kiss. Legit, it was to die for. It’s the kind of dessert that makes you forget about the mediocre mains.

Now, the service is a little...quirky. Picture this: the waitstaff, casually chilling on the wash basin. Definitely a vibe killer. Also, the online ordering system? Kinda weird. You place your order online, but then the waiter still has to come over to confirm it? I mean, what’s the point of the app then? Bizarre.

And about the art. There's like, one piece for sale. And it’s priced at a whooping 15,000 rupees. Talk about “my bank account would cry if I bought that” level.

But honestly, this place is a vibe. Super artsy, laid-back, and totally the escape you need from the usual café chaos. The space is fab—it’s set in this old-school house with a courtyard in the middle, so you get that fresh, open-air vibe with tons of natural light. It’s like you’re in an Instagram post but in real life.

The food? Let’s talk waffles, baby. These things are next-level—fluffy, sweet, and you can top them with chocolate and ice cream. Don’t even think twice, just do it. The sandwiches and pastas are solid, too. The whole vibe here is slow and chill, so it’s perfect if you just wanna snack, hang, and take it easy. Plus, they’ve got fresh juices, coffees, and the classic iced coffee if you need a little caffeine boost.

What really stands out though is the pace. No loud music, no rushed orders. It’s the kind of spot where you can bring a book, people-watch, or just daydream for hours without anyone giving you side-eye. It's like a little creative hideout in the middle of Koramangala’s usual madness.

The only downside? It can get packed. Weekends are especially busy, so don’t be surprised if you have to wait for a table. But honestly, if you’re looking for a cool, chill place to vibe with friends and snack on something tasty, Dyu Art Café totally gets it right.
