Festivals are a great way to indulge and feast with family. That is exactly what we did with the beautifully curated Iftar Combo boxes from Sharief Bhai. While we wanted to order the Gosht Iftar Box for 1299 rupees, we decided to sample the Ramadan Combo Gosht and Murg combos priced at 349 & 259 each. Also ordered a portion of matka phirni too.
Each Ramadan combo box contained a piece of Date, some watermelon and pineapple cut fruits, one piece of onion and meat samosa, sheek kebab with mint chutney, haleek, biryani, raita and a portion of sheer khurma. Based on whether it was a Chicken or Mutton combo, the meat changed, otherwise both the combos were exactly the same. But from a flavor perspective I did find differences in the combos. When it came to the biryani, the mutton was absolutely wonderful, the flavours were spot on and perfect. However the chicken haleem was better than the mutton version, as it was meatier with the mild chunky chicken flavours dominating the dish than the subdued flavors of the mutton haleem. The seekh kebab was not exactly the ones you are familiar with, they were more of a mince lightly coated in a batter and fried, and was perfect with the tangy and spicy mint chutney. The sheer khurma was nice with...
Read morePopular brand among Bangaloreans "Sharief Bhai". Awesome taste and quality, i have seen many of my north Indian friends eating from here. They're addicted to the taste and the biryani from Sharief bhai. Most of them agree that indira nagar sharief bhai is having the best out of the Bangalore. So, i would suggest everyone to visit Indira nagar which will not be a regrettable decision. The quality of rice and the essence of taste is superb and awesome. The chicken and mutton pieces are well cooked and maintained proper hygiene. I prefer Dil Azeez Ghost biryani(mutton biryani) instead of chicken biryani. You will get the proper essence only by opting by Mutton biryani from here. The raita is also good and the one of most special item here is the brinjal curry served as a gravy and definitely worthy to try with biryani. I don't know till i visit Sharief Bhai that we can have a Biryani along with brinjal curry. Best of the best and unique such kind of Biryani and i rate it 5. It's worthy even though on paper it looks expensive. This is one of the best biryani i found in Bangalore, thanks to...
Read moreAbsolutely appalled by the experience — both with this restaurant and with Zomato. What we received was nothing close to what we ordered. The items were completely wrong, ruining our entire meal. We reached out to Zomato support right away, expecting at least a basic level of customer service. Instead, we were met with flat-out refusal for a refund, without any valid explanation. To make matters worse, they stopped responding altogether — as if the issue didn’t matter. This isn’t just poor service, it’s blatant negligence. If you value your money and your time, avoid ordering from this place. You might end up paying for someone else’s meal, with zero accountability from...
