Swathi Residency — Restaurant in Bengaluru

We needed a place to stay for a day long and we're looking for it in the vicinity of Malleshwaram and Majestic, and we were recommended this hotel by the locals. It's a very big property and they have almost more than 150 rooms. It's a very old one and hence you find the furniture and some other things of last generation, but they have made sure to modify and add beauty along with all modern comforts here.

It is well equipped with a lift and it's just beside Raghavendra Swami Matha and that's an added bonus especially for us. It also has an attached restaurant and the quality, taste of the food is very nice and totally worth the cost. It's a bit on the higher end, but since the location falls in a very competitive neighborhood, you won't feel like that as it's almost same in all other restaurants nearby. Their room prices are very reasonable and they don't prefer online bookings. You can directly come to the hotel and do manual checkin or can call through the number listed on website and inform the same and get your rooms blocked.

It's totally preferable for family stay and for people travelling solo, this is the best property they can get under a budget of 700 (normal room) or say less than 1k(AC). Very cheap considering Mantri Mall and Metro are just 50m from this location. Overall was a good experience and definitely recommend for anyone looking for a stay at this location within 2k budget...

There is a hospital right next to the hotel and we had been there for a quick breakfast in the morning and the food was decent .. we went again in the evening after a tiring and a stressful day in the hospital and was not in a condition to have much but just ordered a biryani... Felt like the biryani was prepared a day before and the rice had turned sticky which was served at a cold state.. as we complained they heated up the same biryani again and served with a crucked smile and the server group was discussing and laughing at us... Upon our complain the so called manager had the audacity to shout back at us asked us to quietly leave after payment... He also had the audacity to tell we went in the morning... Please refrain from visiting this place ... Just because someone is under groomed after spending a day long in the hospital does not mean we are beggars and they feed is for free.. both breakfast and the most horrific dinner has...
