I wanted to take a moment to share my recent experience with a Rajasthani thali in mantry square rajdhani. Bangalore. As a fan of authentic regional cuisine, I have always been drawn to exploring the diverse flavors and culinary traditions of different Indian states. However, my encounter with a supposedly Rajasthani thali in Bangalore left me disappointed and longing for the real experience in Rajasthan. Being a food lover, I had heard rave reviews about this particular restaurant, which claimed to offer an authentic Rajasthani dining experience. Intrigued and excited, I eagerly stepped into the establishment, anticipating a delicious and culturally immersive meal. Sadly, what unfolded before me fell short of my expectations. The first sign of disappointment was the lack of a true Rajasthani ambiance. Authenticity is not only about the food but also about the overall experience. I missed the vibrant colors, traditional decor, and warm hospitality that are often associated with Rajasthani dining establishments. It seemed as though the restaurant had merely focused on creating a superficial theme without capturing the essence of Rajasthan. When the thali was served, I was further disheartened by the quality and authenticity of the dishes. Main thing is no pure ghee flavour. The flavors were diluted and lacked the robustness that characterizes Rajasthani cuisine. The dishes lacked the customary spice levels, intricate flavors, and the unique blend of sweet, savory, and tangy tastes that are hallmarks of Rajasthani cooking. It felt like an attempt to cater to a broader audience by watering down the flavors and compromising on authenticity. Additionally, the thali lacked some quintessential Rajasthani delicacies that are integral to a true Rajasthani thali experience. The absence of dishes like gatte ki sabzi, ker sangri, and special sweet. They mixed Lucknowi sweet.and also over sugar.further underscored the deviation from the genuine culinary tradition. These omissions left a significant void in the overall dining experience and contributed to my growing disappointment. While I acknowledge that regional cuisine can be subject to interpretation and adaptation to suit different palates, it is crucial for restaurants to maintain the essence and authenticity of the dishes they claim to serve. It is disappointing when establishments market themselves as purveyors of traditional cuisine but fall short in delivering the promised experience. In conclusion, my recent encounter with a Rajasthani thali in Bangalore left me yearning for the real thing in Rajasthan. The lack of an authentic ambiance, diluted flavors, and missing signature dishes failed to transport me to the vibrant land of Rajasthan and its rich culinary heritage. I hope that in the future, restaurants will strive to honor and preserve the essence of regional cuisines, allowing food enthusiasts like me to savor the true flavors of different Indian states. Finally very very expensive.

Rajdhani As the name states capital. The Mango 🥭 Thali was so huge that yes probably the Capital of Thali. With almost 30 wide variety and never ending menu it was. The warm traditional royal welcome 🙏🏻 was very delightful. The Aarti and then the sandalwood tika followed by a dry mango 🥭 bite. The hand wash is also done at the table with the warm water getting poured on your hand and a small bowl to carry the hand washed water. Now starts the never ending Thali filling. It starts from the welcome drink which was yellow mango 🥭 lassi, Mint Lassi and green Mango 🥭 Lassi along with Butter Milk 🥛. The Salads were the traditional Boondi Raita made by fresh curd, boondi, cumin powder, chilli powder, chaat masala, and to add taste salt and coriander leaves. The soft strawberry 🍓 kulfi shaped dhokla was very innovative style. Special of the Day was Aam ki launji which is a pickle type Rajasthani chutney made by cooking raw green mango pieces with basic Rajasthani cooking spices and sugar. The vegetables section which had soft panner tawa subji and the chana masala was my favourite 🥗 and the Marwari dal along with lasuni tadka kadhi were out of the world. The Thali was so huge that it was never getting ended with the Phulka, the Puri and the Kairi Methi Thepla also. My love ❤️ now is the Mango 🥭 Jalebi along with the Rabdi were delightful which we could feel the exciting mango🥭 inside Jalebi. The Aamras 🥭 will make you to fall in love with the king of fruits. Must visit the Mango 🥭 Thali …Rajdhani Muddappa’s Thermometer 🌡️ Ambiance - 10 / 10 Location - 10 / 10 Food - 100 / 100 Staff Friendly - 1000 / 1000 Presentation- 100 / 100

Welcome to the abode of veg thali--Rajdhani. This is the first name that comes to my mind when someone asks for an elaborate veg thali! Amazing ambiance. Great service. Amazing food served fresh and hot. We started with Farsans. Paneer Khaman( it had paneer between the khaman, very different!) and a cheese roll made from hare pyaaz. So, we had visited on a Friday and my favorite was on the list--" Dal Bati churma". This dish needs no introduction and they did full justice to this one with a generous amount of ghee spread on it. But what stole the show was " Methi Bhajiya Pakoda kadhi"--tangy, sweet..a burst of flavors in your mouth. For mains we had an array of vegetarian dishes: paneer jhalfrezi (generous amount of paneer, not just the gravy), tindola gol (a twist from theregular ivy gourd which we have), batata tomato ( light and simple), pindi chole (perfectly spiced). Next comes the variety of their kadhis and dals. All of them were equally good. Be it surti or panchkuti dal or gathia kadhi. All these paired very well with their Indian breads like phulka, masala puri and aloo paratha. Their dum biryani was a bit spicy with generous amount of vegetables. To smooth it, mogar dal khichdi was there to the rescue! Coming to the most important (and awaited part for me): "Desserts!!" Fruit rasmalai was so soothing and different. Louki halwa was delicious. Of course, kesari jalebi with rabdi tops the chart! And yes, end this with a refreshing glass of chanch! All this at Rs.500/-+ taxes! Steal deal, IKR!!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Rajdhani Restaurant, and I must say, it was an extraordinary experience from start to finish. The moment I stepped in, I was greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere that set the tone for a memorable meal.

The highlight of my visit was undoubtedly the delectable food that Rajdhani Restaurant has to offer. Each dish was bursting with authentic flavors and made with the utmost care. The Dish showcased a wide range of mouthwatering options that catered perfectly to my taste buds. Every bite was a delightful journey through the rich and diverse flavors of Indian cuisine.

However, what truly enhanced my dining experience was the exceptional service provided by Deepkumar, our waiter for the evening.
