I might be the only person who is rating this place a 3, but i want to go ahead and give my honest opinion and trying not to be biased by anything! I visited the Cafe a week ago. Fell in love with the ambience, and the fact that it is an organic place made me more happy. I had the millet pizza and I admit it was one of the best pizza's i've had - guilt free:), very good and tasty toppings, the millet base was very good too. The brownies at the cafe were also extremely tasty. Last Saturday I visited the restaurant at Green path. They had a buffet spread. I had too high expectations and ended up getting extremely disappointed. First thing is the air conditioning in the restaurant was broken. I was sweating all the while I was in. And the staff didn't do much about it either. Now going to the food: The millet soup, millet payasam - was very good, no complaints. The barbequed vegetables: Added to the sweat due to the amount of spice in it. When we complained to the staff that it is un-edible and extremely spicy, they again did not do anything about the it. The chef making this wasn't interested in making a new set of edible food. It took me around 10mins to get my taste buds back to normal. The red rice was un-cooked. I felt bad for having to waste food on my plate. Rest of the food was all average. I truly admire the thought and the passion of Mr. Jayaram in building this place. But i would request him to set these few things right. I am a true believer of organic food myself and i have always been in search of good places which share the same philosophy as mine. I was over-whelmed when i went to this cafe first time. But this time it has let me down. It is not about making a fuss about simple things, it's about how little was done for all the things that bothered us and they were genuine. The staff at the restaurant really really really need to be trained on how to deal with people and make things easier for all. I wish the management at the restaurant take care of the above things and i hope to be having better service and food the next...
Read moreI doubt the reviews i seen in Google now, after experiencing the buffet options in here. I wonder who could give them 4.5+ star.. 550/-+ taxes is what they charge and the the options available is not even worth of 300/- Washrooms sucks..even public toilets in railway station looks nd smells better then this.. Lift has capacity to take only 3 persons at a time. Spoons and plates have stains on them..water bottles seems like they have been there from ages..and all of them have stains nd marks on them.. Plates are not cleared even after you request for it. As they are busy deciding on who should be doing that. Millets on the plate..they say...I wonder what millets are they serving, because the options i saw their was boiled peanuts, cut sugarcane, jaggery, burned cake, Sweetened peanuts and sugar cuts etc..just to make it a visual treat..rotis are burned..even if you check pics posted by other customers...ull find them burned..but it tastes worst then having it burned.. Flavour was too bland. No salt no spice... You hardly hve any option for dessert..if you charge 550/- +taxes for one person you expect atleast 2/3 options of desserts. We got millet payasam..Being a Keralite, could very well tell that the millets weren't washed properly. As it had a flavour like having sumthng packed since ages... On top of it you will get two girls while you leave... downstairs asking and forcing you to put positive reviews for them.. Worst experience..please don't fool with names of organic nd millets..if this is organic better you not go for this organic thing.. Don't go by reviews...as those are not genuine..bcoz even if i try hard, i cudnt find one thing i cud say wud serve the purpose of me paying 550/-+
Nd in parking watchman ask you to pay him 100/- if you want to leave.. as he wants to have tea🙄😛an experience it was...but wud never like to...
