I have been there many times with my friends and family but my recent experience was worst compared to the previous ones. We ordered for paya shorba Which tasted very very pathetic. It was never tasting like a paya shorba, and add on to that is was served cold. We ordered for sabuta chooza, same dish when i had before it was red in colour and when i ordered this time it turned out to be yellow in colour. From red marination it turned out to yellow marination. Chicken was quite dry and the flavor was not like the one i had before Adding on to this my friend found a hair in the same dish but she ignored the first time. Tawa lasooni jhinga was tasting good, all of us enjoyed it. Last dish that we ordered was mutton dum biryani and my friend it was not even smelling like biryani. Its too oily, lamb was bland, masala was bitter n spicy, 90% of the biryani was red, not white or yellow rice visible and to add on to that my friend again found a hair in the biryani. This time we tried to convey the same to the team to which they replied ‘baal khana mein nai hai ye kahi se udd kar aa gaya hoga’ Later the chef came and apologised and tried to offer something complimentary but we died bec by now our mood was completely off. Masala chaas and aam pana was very very good. Service was damm slow, portions were small too given the price they charged. Zero hygiene and taste wise the food has gone down a lot. It used to be a good place before but now they have ruined it completely. Not going again to this place for sure. They lost a...
Read moreHotel Tandoori Taal, situated on Palace Road in Bangalore’s High Grounds, offers a delightful dining experience with a mix of elegance and comfort. The ambience is inviting, with spacious seating and tasteful décor. The menu features a wide range of vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes, including flavorful starters like paneer tikki and methi tikki. The tandoori naan with mushroom curry and paneer curry was a standout, complemented by jeera rice, dal, and raita.
Service is polite, though expect some delays during peak times due to the crowd, which is understandable given its central location near key spots like Race Course Road. The restaurant is committed to sustainability, using locally sourced ingredients and offering some vegan options. Pricing is on the higher side, but the quality of food and generous portions make it worth the cost.
The central location makes it easily accessible, but parking can be a challenge, so public transport is a good alternative. It’s an ideal spot for team lunches, family dinners, or casual outings, with a lively atmosphere that adds to the experience.
Overall, Tandoori Taal delivers on quality and ambience, making it a must-visit for anyone seeking a wholesome dining experience...
Read moreVisited here on Friday evening. This is the 2nd branch of the restaurant apart from Indiranagar. Public transport to/from this place is screwed, specially from Sampige road metro station. So plan logistics accordingly. The restaurant is situated in the Prestige Trade Towers along with multiple other restaurants located adjacent to it on the ground floor. The staff was really courteous, and since Tandoori Taal is famous for North Indian cuisine, we ordered Paneer Khurchan and Handi Subz based on staff’s recommendation and Lassi at the last.
Handi Subz was ok-ok. Rest everything was really good. You also get complimentary papad at the beginning and green salad.
May visit Indiranagar branch but not this one due to...
