Blue Ginger:Nothing blue about it! Ambience:An open-air restaurant.80packs seating capacity.Perfect place to have a romantic-meal.U can gaze into the pond and watch acrobatic swimming of fishes,with fresh lotus blooming from june onwards.The cane chairs are plumped up with colurful cushions Staff:Courteous,attentive & man a very busy service.Kudos! Food:So the chef de party made the best meal in vietnamese for us.They have an elaborate vietnamese food menu.This has no 1 vietnamese food,with no arguements. Pho:A classic take on vietnamese soup.Broth is made with soy sauce and blend of spices.Light,healthy and yet substantial,which cud even constitute for a full meal as it even has vegetables and noodles. Raw Papaya salad:This has light soya,vinegar,sugar.Hint of very little peanuts.Tangy Raw Mango salad:This has become my new favourite.U just can stop urself from taking more each time.With just some light soya,sugar,water to prepare the dressing.Sweet and tangy Vietnenese Waterchestnut Ricepaper rolls:These are full on flavour which exuberates a breath of freshness from iceberg,rola,robu lettuce and canned waterchestnuts boiled and with boiled vermicili sauted in satay sauce and served with peanut hoisin sauce dip.Dont break it,eat the whole thing together. Veg red vietnamese curry:(Ca re chay):Made with silken tofu,broccoli and medley of vegetables.Star anise a popular spice is used in most vietnemese food.Cinnamon hint comes in the middle.This has a blend of the whole spices which are made into curry powder,added with redchilli powder,lemongrass,coconut milk and finished with butter.Rich yet comforting,Smooth and clean flavours.Dipping the baguette in it adds a new dimension. Jasmine Rice:Flavourful rice to enjoy with the red curry. Ruby red:This has jasmine essence.This has jelly.waterchestnuts,and coconut milk sweetened Cheesecake:Thus was super-yum topped with rasberry sauce,chilled to perfection Lemongrass icecream:Versatile yet simple and it blends with the full fat cream and granulated sugar.The lemongrass stalks ooze out the flavours Coconut icecream:Creamy with richness of coconut flavours.Perfect for summers.Stellar! Bangalore never seizes to surprise you !!! To begin with the hotel gives you an amazing old time Bangalore feeler as soon as you enter. The pathway leading to the lounge and green every where is just amazing. After giving the car for vallet parking we realised that the blue ginger restaurant is in a different side and you need to walk, it's a nice walk on the corridor with pictures from old times. Blue Ginger is a Vietnamese restaurant sorrounded by forest like ambience and nice BIG tables with nice view and green all over. They have good choice of wine and the food is close to Chinese/Thai(first time in a a Vietnamese restaurant). Though I don't remember the lady who served she helped us choosing starters and main course .... Wine was a French one and it was really nice, the person who took the wine order and served the wine can smile a bit more :) over all an amazing experience on the day of our anniversary!! It's was really nice feeling when the hotel came up with the cake to make it special ..... I definitely recommend this place a...

We visit this restaurant last night. The food was good but the service was horrible. Ended up ruining our rare Saturday evening together as a family. The restaurant manager was a disaster … “tell me your concer and I will raise it with management “. Then why be a manager. Duty manager was not available. A message to the front desk for the GM to call back also not returned. A fairly regular customer of the Taj west end masala club where we have not had such issues at least in the past. Not to speak of a queasy stomach for the entire family the next morning… god knows what was wrong in the hygiene levels with the food. But given the apathy I would definitely put that at suspect. I should add here that there were other customers as well who were complaining about the service.

An un-Taj experience to the core. Don’t waste an evening here would be my recommendation to others...

It's the perfect place to replace the destination of your treasure map. Certainly a hidden gem which I discovered lately. As you enter Taj West End the verdant expanses of the premises provide an enchanting setting and this gem-like space shimmers in its midst. Honestly, the food here is to die for and the staff is extremely warm, it's just a bit overpriced. I am not very familiar with Vietnamese cuisine however loved every dish served on our table. Being a foodie, I always like to take pleasure in eating different varieties of food. To be honest I did not had much expectations but as it turns out, this place served the best food (Vietnamese soft noodles, Vietnamese prawns red curry, hanoi grilled fish, grilled lamb chops, prawn lemon grass chilli soup etc.), I have had in ages. Vitanamese food is just great. Certainly coming back!!

Good vietnamese cuisine with a wide range of exquisite dishes. Each dish had a flavorful impact. The lemongrass prawn chilli soup is a great way to start a meal. The chicken thai curry has soft and tender meat. The beef is loaded with flavour and is really tender. The lamb chops are just perfectly cooked and charred to the bone. The place has a very good ambiance and the staff and servers are diligent. The only thing wrong was that they take too much time in between courses, otherwise, their food is top notch

The chicken thai curry has soft and tender meat. The beef is loaded with flavour and is really tender. The lamb chops are just perfectly cooked and charred to the bone. The place has a very good ambiance and the staff and servers are diligent. The only thing wrong was that they take too much time in between courses, otherwise, their food is top notch
