I visited Thalassery Restaurant for lunch around 2:30 PM on a weekday. The place was crowded, which is a good sign of its popularity. I ordered Kerala Meals with Squid Roast, which came with four curries, pickle, pappadam, sambar, fish curry gravy, rasam, and payasam. BEEF items not serve here. The food was served in a plantain leaf, which added to the authentic Kerala vibe. The meals was good, but not outstanding. The curries were flavorful, but some of them were not hot enough. Maybe it was because I came late for lunch. The fish curry gravy with tomato was not to my liking, but that is a personal preference. The sambar was thick and the rasam was refreshing. The payasam was sweet and creamy, a perfect end to the meal. The squid roast was the highlight of the meal. It was so yummy, perfectly cooked, and not rubbery at all. It had a nice spice level and a smoky flavor. The portion was generous and worth the price of 250 rupees. The meals costs 120 rupees, which was reasonable for the quality and quantity. The ambiance of the restaurant was good. It was clean, spacious, and well-decorated. The location was convenient, next to RR Medical College. There was ample parking space available. Overall, I had a good experience at Thalassery Restaurant. I would recommend it to anyone who loves Kerala cuisine and seafood.

Compared to the other Thalassery outlets, this is by far the worst.... Not clean from the hygiene point of view. Food was ok...this is not acceptable...food has to be good, not ok.. The chicken roast had only the masala and less of chicken... The service was atrocious...the staff....one Unmesh, absolutely rude, was close to getting into an argument with me.... This gentleman should not be in F&B Services...He should be in the back end office... I would rate my experience here as the worst in my 50 plus years of eating in restaurants. Not that, I as a customer had to go through such bad hospitality, I pay for the what I order and eat....Here comes the service part...Which plays a vital role.. else you feel cheated When a customer feels his expectations were not met...is bad customer service...core service failure.. Attitude and behaviour of employees during face to face interactions with customer is of paramount importance .. I bring to your notice TR have failed on all these grounds - hired the wrong people, lack of training, employee burnout, misunderstanding customer expectations and lack of employee engagement. I will definitely not visit this outlet....never..

Visited this Kerala-style food restaurant for the first time. We ordered Neer dosa and prawn ghee roast which is our best Kerala food. They said neer dos is not available. Then we ordered kothu paratha, prawns ghee roast, and creamy chicken soup. We have reached very late, still the waiter over there are very cooperative. The security guard behaved very well. The hand wash area is neat and clean. The price is also not high as expected. Waiting time is more than expected. The creamy Chicken soup was good but sweeter. The very bad taste of the kothu paratha. We dint like at all. Prawns ghee roast was changed. It tasted like prawns curry with capsicum and lots of curry leaves etc. I called the waiter and reconfirm whether it is a ghee roast or by mistake, he bout this curry. But he said this is the ghee roast. I got upset. I didn't like the food at all. The location of this restaurant is very good, but the food was very bad. They need to change the Chef or take care of the cooking and monitor very closely.

We had been to this Restuarant yesterday night for dinner. 6 of us were there. We ordered for Biriyanis, Roti and Tandoori Chicken tikka (Full ).

If we Tandoori tikka, they supplied Murg Masala Half and argued that it is full plate. Also, the same thing happened on other table also. They scolded and walked out.

In our case, all were hungry and exhausted and just wanted food as it was 10:30 pm. This is the nearest hotel to our workplace. We eat the food. But the bill was INR 2209 out of which Murg Masala Half which was supplied wrongly for the Order Tandoori Chicken Tikka full , they had charged at 999 for half. Very worst food and they over-ride customers. It's a Day looting and Robbery.

Lesson for us. Please confirm what we was ordered and what was served are the same. Don't allow for day robbery and fraud . Please check the bill if the billing is done rightly. Big frauds.

Please don't cheat the Customers just for the sake of billing.

We were regular customers for this particular restuarant from the Day 1 of starting this hotel. Quality of food is also deteriorated off- late. Hereafter, we will never go to this hotel.

We don't recommend anybody...
