I have stayed at the club for 3 weeks now and I’m writing this as the stay comes to an end. While it is a lovely place interms of ambience and the food is good in places like Watson’s - the hospitality and room service is terrible. It is as if the club is stuck in some time loop and refuses to invest or upgrade its quality of rooms and bathrooms or the kind of staff they have.

The staff is unprofessional. The rooms have barely any items suited for a long or short stay. They don’t have basic things like a stand to keep toothbrushes / pastes or hangers on the cupboard. There are small cockroaches creeping in an out of the nooks and cracks. Of the 3 weeks that I’ve been here, they have to be chased for room cleanliness - which is done at a very basic level. The bathroom was never cleaned . The bathroom quality is dismal. Leaking taps and showers, broken doors, broken tiles and so much more.

We were issued a card for payments around the club that had to be validated every day at reception - the system is ancient and unoptimised. Even the people working it don’t know what to do!

This place needs a complete overhaul in personnel and management and while members have become used to and comfortable - for an outsider guest - this will not be the place I will be recommending to...

The Koramangala Club is in a bush posh cosmopolitan location catering to high end individuals.. This club is pretty old, saturated & getting membership is difficult, expensive with a long waiting period. There are different halls to cater to different requirements, functions, get togethers, activities. Almost all halls are Air conditioned. There are dining spaces, a play area, a tennis court, gym, halls for liquor consumption, dining, party halls etc. Easily accessible by bus, auto, taxi & in future metro. Spacious, clean, neat, calm, airy, well maintained club. Generally all facilities are restricted to the members, visitors, relatives,invitees etc., but function halls, get togethers etc., are for invitees, family members,friends, colleagues etc. The only visible minus point is that a High Tension Electrical Power transmission line Criss cross very near to the building so also adjacent locations. Hope promoters have considered this with respect to safety angles to inmates, visitors, invitees,participants, organisers, children etc. Otherwise, it is a safe place with security personnel manning @ strategic locations. My information is based on attending one or two functions, get together on invitation inside the club premises....
