The Vintage Cafe — Restaurant in Bengaluru

No doubt, The ambience is good. But the staffs are not!! This is Karnataka and we prefer to talk in kannada, while I was ordering I asked few things in kannada and the lady who was at the cash counter (no idea from where she is ) said she dsnt know kannada n asked me to talk in Hindi. I said since u r in Karnataka u need to know Kannada or English at the least! She said " Karnataka me ho to kya kannada jaana zaroori nahi hai!!!!!!!!" My friend this is Karnataka n u dare to make such a dumb statement , if u want to live in this state n work here drink our water eat our food and boss over us? Hamare liye bhi aapka zaroorat nahi hai aap Jaa sakte hai jaha aapki zaroorat ho!! And we just ordered some mojito which was not good atall and they took 170 for each of those. Hence just giving one star for the ambience. May be u need to ask ur staffs to be polite.

Edit: spoke to the owner and she has promised us ask their staff's to be polite n also to learn Kannada,...

Edit: The quality has dropped to a great extent. The owner has left it their employees to run it. I did not get a bill for the 2 plates of akki rotti I purchased. The rotti was hard as rock and inedible The owner was nowhere in sight Not going there again.

This is a nice small cafe which is reasonably priced and has a limited but decent food menu. We tried the burger and pizza along with lemon tea and a peach ice tea. Both dishes and beverages were above average and worth a try. The lady who runs this place was very accommodative of our dietary requirements and ensured that the burger was made completely vegan for one of us. The ambiance is pretty cool,the approach is good,good seating arrangement outside is quite cool and neatly maintained. The interior is the main question,the interior also is pretty impressive and attractive (frames if different colours has been put up,lanterns are hung,and a wall of photo having different "café" quotes and etc). The waiting time is a lot and the menu card is confusing but presentation is good,the food was quite a bit okay not soooo good,but pizza was was too much of spice and fries was unbaked a bit. but on the whole place is good Ambience is good Taste can be better Seating arrangement must be taken care Good quality...
