Third Wave Coffee — Restaurant in Bengaluru

This third wave is all about the experience!

Coffee: 5/5. I always love third wave's classic cold coffees, but none compare to this one. It was the right amount of bitterness (slightly more than the other branches), very creamy and at the perfect temperature. The cappuccino was great too.

Ambience: (4.5/5) as usual, the cafe has an indoor and outdoor seating. The insides are clean, well maintained, well lit and aesthetic. A little lacking in space however. The outdoor seating is by a water fountain and very unique! Would've loved it if not for the several mosquitoes hovering around. Since it was a weekday, and this third wave is inside a corporate space, it was pretty crowded. (Evening, 7-8pm)

Service: 4/5. The service was quick and well done. Perhaps the people at the counter had a tiring day, or a bad one, but they were somewhat rude and intimidating.

Location: 4/5. Inside a large complex (about 400-500m), so it isn't exactly on the main road. The cafe is surrounded by other eateries, bakeries and cafes. It's still easy to spot. The parking is paid.

Price: standard third wave pricing (somewhat expensive)

I'm a regular here for coffee, but sometimes the experience is not that great. We ordered salad and the person at the counter didn't inform us that some ingredients were not available. They served the dish without some ingredients like cherry tomato, olives etc. After having a few bites I realised something is missing since I've had this before. When we asked them, they said some items are unavailable. They should have informed this while ordering. They gave us some replacement veggies to compensate for the missing ones. In our last visit, we waited in line for 15-20 mins. When our turn came, all the items we wanted were out of stock. There was no bagel, no sandwich, no paneer tacos. They should have ideally put a sign when so many things are out of stock so that people don't wait in line for so long. We have gone here to especially have Espresso and some bagel that we loved when we tried in the sarjapur outlet. We went here because in the sarjapur road outlet is full sunday evening.

Before entering in this cafe, first thing I noticed there was no crowd like any other TWC. It was a first warning.

We have placed an order and drinks were delivered even before the food.

However we proceeded and they delivered the wrong item and when we pointed out we have got the bagel that we ordered.

I would say that this was the one of the worst bagel that I have tried. My kids were not able to eat at all. Also Espresso was not strong enough and tasted more like a diluted Espresso.

Overall TWC is good, but not this outlet. I made a vow of not visiting this...
