Another visit during new year eve. They had ala carte and buffet option but we opted for ala carte. We had the following: Cream of Chicken Soup, Moroccan BBQ Chicken, Effa Dajaj, Mexican Dajaj sizzler, Chicken Lahori with Butter Kulcha. We also had flavoured Virgin Mojito of Strawberry, Peach, PassioncFruit and Watermelon. All the items were served without much delay and we really liked it well. The only item that was an exception was the soup in which the chicken tasted a bit stale/blande. The portion size of all other items were really good, enough for 4-5 people. A definite option to consider when exploring options in this area.
Been here on a Sunday afternoon, after checking with them if they are allowing Dine-In. The restaurant was just getting set up and hardly had couple of patrons. We got a seat of our choice. We ordered the following: Masala Papad; Chicken Manchow Soup; Tandoori Non-Veg Platter (half) - assorted tandoori items of Chicken, Mutton, Prawns and Fish; BBQ 5 IN 1 Combo - different type of chicken bbq served with four kuboos, garlic mayo and hummus; Kozi Dajaj - flavoured rice which is mix of saffron and white rice, served with Chicken breast piece; Chicken Xacoti - diced boneless chicken in mildly spiced thick gravy; Naan - Garlic and Plain; Mojito and Cool Blue for drinks. The portion was adequate for 3-4 in a table. The wait time was slightly high but acceptable since it was just the time when they begin operations and also the bbq items need high preparation time. Service was decent but can be improved a bit in terms of knowledge on the items in menu. The place is a definite visit to try amazing Arabian dishes. The price is not expensive considering the quantity and taste. Will definitely give another visit to try...
Read moreHey foodies! I recently had the pleasure of dining at Zaitoon, and let me tell you, it was quite an experience! From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this place had a touch of luxury. The fact that they had parking in the basement was a major convenience, saving us the hassle of finding a spot nearby.
Walking into the restaurant, I couldn't help but admire the elegant and inviting ambiance. It had a classy yet relaxed vibe, making it the perfect place to unwind and enjoy a delicious meal. The staff were incredibly courteous and attentive, ensuring that we felt welcomed and taken care of throughout our visit.
Now, let's talk about the star of the show—the food! Zaitoon offers a diverse menu, catering to both vegetarians and non-vegetarians. We started with the sweet corn soup and veg manchow soup, both of which were packed with flavors and left us craving for more. The honey chilli potato had just the right amount of sweetness and spiciness, making it a delightful appetizer.
Moving on to the main course, we indulged in paneer Manchurian, veg noodles, and fried rice. Each dish was cooked to perfection, with a wonderful balance of spices and freshness. The only downside we noticed was that the quantity could have been a bit more considering the price, but the quality of the dishes made up for it.
Overall, our dining experience at Zaitoon was fantastic. The combination of the luxurious ambience, courteous staff, and delicious food made for a memorable evening. If you're looking for a multi-cuisine restaurant that offers both veg and non-veg options, Zaitoon should definitely be on your list. Just be prepared to indulge in some truly...
Read moreWe were craving some Shawarma and some fried chicken and wanted to try Zaitoon for a late dinner. We looked around for a bit and found that they have a dining restaurant on the 1st floor and a banquet hall as well on the 2nd floor. Since we were in no mood for fine dining, we chose to sit at their Cafe deck. After placing our order, we were informed that no form of Shawarma was available. We then ordered a Chicken Tikka Burger and a Dajaj Tawa Roll. The food was average and was not worth the hype and we were contemplating on ordering a bucket of Chicken while finishing the Burger and Roll and suddenly to our utter surprise, there was a Bandicoot Rat on the Cafe deck, going out, from inside of the Cafe. We were shell shocked to see it crawl right next to us without any fear. The staff did not even bother to chase it away. This made us feel really sick. We wanted to get out of there immediately and asked for our bill. While we waited for the bill, the Bandicoot Rat came back again on the deck in order to try to go inside the Cafe but this time, the staff chased it away. It was a weird and uncomfortable scene. The creature did not seem to have any fear of humans, which makes me think that it has found its home, somewhere inside the Cafe. This happened on January 4th, 2025 at around 11 PM. While we were leaving, i made sure to inform the staff how unpleasant this experience was and asked them to get a pest control done and they informed me that the manager already knows about the Rat situation. Never going back here again and not recommending this place to...
